Well located hotel but with limited possibilities

I choose this hotel to be able to sleep over during he period of the fair in Utrecht. This hotel has been chosen using the app on criteria: Parking, Breakfast and restaurant. For the last, unfortunately I wasn't informed that the restaurant wasn't open/used in the evenings, only for breakfast. The first night we ate in the restaurant totally independent of the hotel, the 2nd night, that one was also closed and we had no choice than to eat a pizza at the bar of the hotel. I had a problem with the light (above the shower) and the light of the small mirror (round one hanging) because they were not working. On Tuesday morning, at 08h00, I transmit this information and the problem we had concerning the restaurant to a experienced woman (around 45 years old). When I arrived in the evening from the fair, I noticed that nothing had been done, I went down tp the reception to mention it and demand to execute my friendly request the same evening, the receptionist said she would see what she could do, a bit later, after entering my room I got a call from the reception (different woman), proposing me to move to a suite. I declined because all my stuff were spread and to change room for a few hours, without really enjoying the room, was not worth the change.

I only stayed for one night en route to somewhere else but had stayed at this hotel in the past and was glad to see that everything was still of a high standard. The room was very spacious and comfortable, offering views of the city. I also found the hotel to be quiet and staff very helpful when I needed something at reception.

Friendly staff, nice rooms

The hotel is located in Amsersfoort city centre and due to all kind of building activities (Oct 2024) is more difficult to reach. Rooms are nice and spacious. Staff is friendly. There were recurring problems with the bill with the included breakfast being charged again. After contacting the desk it was solved for the first time but the issue re-occured again the 2nd day. So I needed to go after that again.
