Hotel is in a great location, close to the station. Checking in was smooth and reception staff very welcoming. We stayed in room 402 which is at the front of the hotel on the street side and can be noisy but Amsterdam is a lively city! The hotel inside was very quiet. Our room was very clean and a good size. We enjoyed the daily buffet breakfast which had lots of choice and the area was very clean. We had a great stay, staff were very friendly, polite and welcoming and we would recommend this hotel.

Bathroom was so small you needed to turn sideways to get between the corner of the sink and the bathroom door to get to the toilet.. Even with that, it was a tight squeeze. We joked that you could rest your chin on the sink while sitting on the toilet. If you want to change clothes in the bathroom, you need to step into the shower area to do it. Handheld style shower head was not adjustable and was set at waist height forcing you to use it only as a handheld. The water flow was not strong. Bedroom was small but sufficient for our needs. Little space for personal items and maneuvering but enough for the two nights we were there. Gentlemen at front desk were the least engaged of all the hotels we stayed in during our two weeks in Europe. Almost as if we were bothering them.
