ibis Styles Amsterdam Central Station Hotel 3 stars

Check in was effortless, cleanliness and hygiene regime faultless, breakfast almost as good as pre-COVID restrictions so no complaints. Very helpful and friendly staff members, from front of house through to breakfast staff and cleaning team. Great value for money, would definitely stay with you again.

I stayed at the hotel for one night and it was very nice and comfortable, with a central location!

Incredibly poor and disappointing from start to finish. Being asked for my card details by email, the absolute lack of any character, style or personality that I find in every other Ibis Styles. Poorly designed bathroom wit a toilet that you can barely sit on, a shower that isn't enclosed and floods the flooring, no matts provided making you use the towels to stand on. Uncovered wiring directly above your pillows creating a huge hazard. Despite signing the form saying you accept that they'll be no housekeeping, I still had a knock from housekeeping the next morning which I declined. Really disappointed that despite this they've waited until I've gone out and still gone into my room. This is not the Ibis Styles experience I know and like, incredibly disappointing

Location was perfect. Room was nice just the basic stuff but that’s all we needed. Staff were lovely, the breakfast was alright not the best to be honest but for the price it was good. Would stay again

The staff was extremely helpful and very friendly. The room me and my friend stayed in was clean, comfy and all of our needs were covered. The hotel is well located and right in the centre of Amsterdam, two minutes away from the Central Station and all the shops. I will definitely stay in this hotel again the next time I am there. One little thing was that the air conditioning was dripping slightly.

Overall, a fairly comfortable stay. Appalled that workmen operating in an adjoining room continued banging and drilling up to 8pm !!! No fridge. Bed duvet too thick and heavy for a comfortable night’s sleep. Breakfast arrangement ( collect nd eat in room the best feature of stay. Closeness to Centraal station for all transport options , and within walking distance to cafes, shops and take-out eateries a strong point.

Very appropriate location, very close to the main train station / rooms at the Ibis standard : renovated, clean and confortable. WiFi in order and efficient. Efficient staff at desk and helpful. A nice experience.

The hotel room and location were fine. We arrived on 15th March, unfortunately the Dutch government announced at 5.15 pm announced that all bars and restaurants were to close at 6pm that day. We had booked bed and breakfast, unfortunately on arriving back at the hotel we were then informed that the hotel restaurant was closed even for breakfast. At this point we decided that we should return home in case we had a problem returning home later in the week. As well as the problem of finding somewhere to eat and also not being able to find anything to do. We did discover the next morning that breakfast was available, but we had to rush off to catch our flight. I did raise this matter by telephone with your customer services dept on 17th March, but as of yet I haven't heard from them.

On arrival was told 'you have been upgraded to a bigger room' well if it was bigger, god knows what the other room was like! Very small room, basic facilities and noise from other rooms, no soundproof.

The hotel is only a five minute walk from the Central station and is a comfortable budget option with a lovely breakfast and rooms. I arrived by eurostar to attend an Ajax football match so the hotel was handy for arrival, the metro to the match and the Thalys train service to Brussels next day.

They gave us a mini bottle of red wine and some Amsterdam cookies as they knew it was a trip for a big birthday. Excellent hotel and breakfast extremely good. Location is close to everything and restaurant next door good
