For a basic, clean, comfortable and affordable Amsterdam hotel option, the Ibis Styles is a great choice. Good location near Amsterdam Central, with easy transportation options to various parts of the city. Staff was welcoming, helpful and quick to answer any questions. Breakfast was plentiful, with a good variety of options. Plan to book again next time we are in Amsterdam.

Sadly a broken elevator changed my opinion the whole event. To carry.. or be expected to carry heavy baggage up and down 3 flights of stairs was no mean feat. No attempt by your staff to assist... Even trying to find the stairs was not easy as the signage was not clear.. No sorry... a broken elevator means you close until you fix it or you employ porters to assist. To expect your guests to get to their rooms by climbing a very steep staircase , carrying heavy baggage in my opinion is not expected
