You and your family will quickly feel at home at Novotel. The Novotel Den Haag World Forum is a family friendly 4-star hotel located on top of the World Forum convention centre and theatre. The seaside resorts of Kijkduin and Scheveningen are close to the hotel, only 10 minutes travel with public transport or car. The Madurodam miniature park and Omniversum movie theatre are within walking distance and the city centre is also easily accessible by public transport and has many highlights to explore.

If you are in The Hague, we urge you to visit the Mauritshuis, the Knight's Hall at the Binnenhof and the Panorama Mesdag. When visiting the city with children, a trip to Madurodam is a fun day out. The beach can be reached in 10 minutes by tram or car. Our hotel is ideally located in the Statenkwartier of the 'Court City'. The Gemeente Museum and Museon are within walking distance of the hotel. For a relaxing walk or picnic, the nearby recreation area 'de Scheveningse Bosjes' is the place to be.

The hotel is easy to reach both by car and public transport. Within minutes you can be on the A12 highway. There are numerous tram stations surrounding the hotel which will get you either to the city centre or to the beach.

Good stay overall, but bad check-in due to a rude receptionist

Hello, While we had a pleasant stay overall, I would like to share with you my bad experience with the check-in. I asked for early check-in at 1pm and received confirmation that it was possible. However, upon arrival I was met by a very rude receptionist. In detail: - before being able to identify myself and ask for check-in, I was told, paraphrasing, "No rooms ready before 3pm, come back later" - I replied that I made a request for early check-in and received confirmation, thus ask him to check in the system - ⁠No attempt to check the system was made on his end and I received the same response as in the first bullet point immediately - ⁠I was offered to leave the bags, which I did, but got refused to already do my check-in so I wouldn't have to do later when it's busier with another rude response, paraphrasing, "You can do it later" Additionally, I noticed he was possibly with another receptionist who was finding the situation funny. It wasn't in my perspective. I didn't get his name, but believe it was similar to 'Walter'. I never expected such lack of courtesy and professionalism, thus I took action to expose the situation. I stay at many hotels so have lots to compare with. My experience at the Novotel World Forum was one of the best. The staff provides excellent service. The room and hotel was very clean. The room layout makes sense, is light and clean, lighting is nicely thought out and the bathroom is a good size, with good lighting and has adequate counter space. The bed is also comfortable. The breakfast has a good selection of items as well. I would recommend staying here!
