Feel good on the move at Mercure. Mercure Hotel Schiphol Terminal is a unique 3-star hotel inside Schiphol Airport, located airside (after security), in the transit area of lounge 3 (upper level) at the beginning of the F gates. To stay at the hotel, you need a valid passport and flight ticket for the same or next day. Both day and night rooms are available. Please note: you can only bring hand luggage to the hotel. Transit passengers should not go to the exit/arrival hall, but remain in the Terminal.

The hotel is located behind customs and security, in the transit area. For arriving passengers, please follow your way to Lounge 3, at the beginning of the F gates. Do NOT go to the exit/arrival hall. You will find the hotel on the upper level. Departing passengers should follow their way (after checking in their luggage) from the departure hall to security and immigration, and continue to the beginning of the F gates in airport Lounge 3 PLEASE NOTE: you can only bring hand luggage to the hotel!

You certainly won't get bored at Schiphol. There are plenty of places to shop, buy a meal or have a drink. You can also go for a massage, visit the spa or look around the Rijksmuseum Amsterdam Schiphol.

This hotel is in a convenient location, which is why I chose to stay here for the second time. However, this time was a very disappointing experience. The room was not clean at all—there was a lot of dust, and the bed sheets were dirty. The pillow and pillowcases had loose fibers coming off them, which got stuck in my hair. The bathroom was also very unclean, with hair left behind from previous guests. Unless absolutely necessary, I would not want to stay here again.

I booked this hotel through my company platform, but I didn't book any flight. I didn't know this hotel is actually not accessible at all without any flight ticket, as it is in the airport transit zone. By exception they let me in, put my luggage in. I went out for dinner. When I got back it was a different person, who didn't want to let me in. Conclusion : I had to take back my luggage after 1,5 hour waiting in the area, leave the hotel. The hotel reception didn't want to cancel the invoice at all, nor provide any kind of support to find another hotel room for the night. This is completely awful customer experience, and terrible way to offer alternative solutions in the end. I understand the process has failed, but the way I felt treated in the end makes me very dissatisfied.
