Curious10901760384 Friends getaway - TripAdvisor review

I stayed in the budget version of the Ibis - which is only a few hundred metres from the ibis - with my friends for a holiday. The hotel was practical and clean (we did have to make our own beds though) and the shuttle bus is amazing and very helpful as the hotel is far from the city. Beds aside, the only issue I had is the fact that the whole general area is infested with rats. There are a few overflowing bins which I assume attract them and we did not go a single night without seeing a large rat. It is decent for what we paid for (£780 for 4 nights) but if you are scared of rodents not the place

We got there a little bit earlier than normal check in but they were able to give us a room which we appreciated so much! The breakfast is amazing and delicious, we had previously stayed there and this time decided to come back. If we ever come back to Amsterdam, we’ll definitely book there again.

Receptionists were unfriendly in general, rather rude. // There were two glasses in a bathroom. They were dirty. One had a lip mark and another has white line of tooth paste. // Mosquito net was broken. // The shuttle bus was too crowded. Some people had to wait for the next one.

Great for what we needed

The hotel was excellent for the one night we spent there. Our room was comfortable and it was just a quick bus trip to the Johann Cruijff Arena. Breakfast the following morning was delicious and opened early. The shuttle to the airport is also very convenient.
