I travel through Schiphol a lot and often need a night for sleep, a place to do guest laundry, and enjoy a nice breakfast. This hotel has continued to improve by having the Superior rooms, and the business section of quiet rooms with dedicated business lobby and drinks. The room has great beds and the superior room has a fold out sofa/chair that can become a third bed. My only complaint in the superior rooms is that you trade the desk space (which I use for travel) for the sofa chair. I wish they could re-arrange the room to have both. As an IBIS Business member are arrival was early but our room was not quite ready. The reception desk offered us two extra "welcome drinks" as we had to wait an extra 25 minutes for our room. They seek to meet our needs every time I have been there. The great bus service to Schiphol allows us to get to other stores, get to trains, and receive other services at some of the airport stores.

It was in general good but there was a strong smell like marihuana in the common areas.

Poor service - Employee without any training

Long waiting time at the desk, the member desk was closed. With a diamond status, I had to claim my welcome drink. No room upgrade. Room not clean. The employee at the bar phoned to the reception, he did not know the voucher for the welcome drink. For the evening meal, there were only meatballs for the main course
