No Restaurant (except Buffet) and very long Waiting times / understaffed

Arriving for Check in with a very long Que. Waiting time approx. 30 Minutes. When it was my turn... Reservation was not found. Another 15 Minutes to get my Card. So 45 Minutes between arrival and getting my Room Key. Trying to buy a beer to calm down at Take Away Store. Completely unorganized. Waiting time 15 Minutes to buy a beer. Room was not fancy. But Clean. Nothing to complain. Then Dinner... no Restaurant nor Bar nor Burger Shop ... only 4th floor 27 Euros Buffet. So back to the Take away and buy a beer and a sandwich. Another waiting tim (but not 15 minutes this time). Check out... asking for the printed Invoice.... System broken no Invoice can be printed. So definitely. I will not stay in this IBIS any more.

The room was pre-paid, but at check-in instead of only being billed or city tax, I was billed the full Euro 253, which I only noticed later in the evening. The queues to check-in were huge and its took half an hour to come back, get refund into the credit card machine - but so far only the debit shows on my account, no the Euro240 refund. The AC in the room basically didn't work, but by this time I had unpacked and could not face the return to check-in again to ask for another room. The burger bar is closed so only a fixed price Euro28 buffet is available at the hotel - unless you want a chicken sandwich in the bar - which ended up being dinner. The staff are nice given the pressure I think there are under, the shuttle bus works well - but next time I will try another option

Everything ok in the end, but the check in process is really weak. I took almost 30 min to check in and I was 3rd in one of the queues, The receptionist could not find my reservation, she could not even understand English very well and she was really slow. As an example, 3 check in desks were open upon my arrival at the hotel and she attended 3 people, as her colleague side by side, attended 7!!! I've also requested invoice in company's name and I'm still waiting for it (maybe she didn't understand also or just simply ignored it). I believe this process could be reviewed by your team, or a better staff selection from your side, as it looks your employees have different productivity levels and due to the actual constrains this is a key success factor for your business. Ibis is always a well balanced choice, however this was my worst check in experience ever.
