Recently stayed in this hotel for two nights, on separate dates. For the last few years I’ve visited this hotel a few times a year, but this has been the last. The hotel isn’t what it used to be anymore, especially when it comes to cleaning. It seems like only the towels and the bedsheets get changed and that’s all. The doors, floors and the walls are extremely dirty. A lamp had broken down, it was impossible to switch off the tv, many channels on the tv didn’t function, etc. Also in the corridors and lifts it was extremely dirty, like no one had cleaned them in years. I had made both reservations through the Accor website and I had checked in online the day before my stay. You’re only meant to pick up the key at the front desk after you checked in online. During my first stay the woman at reception was extremely unfriendly, who didn’t understand I had checked in online on the Accor website. She didn’t speak Dutch and her English was very bad. Checking in took over half an hour, because this woman was also very unhandy with the computer system. In the past there used to be a desk especially for Accor guests, but unfortunately this desk has disappeared. They tell you you can get free coffee and tea downstairs. During my first stay I tried several times to get a cup of tea, but every time I was told the machine needed to be cleaned. Compliments to Cyril from the front desk, who helped me during my second stay. He was very friendly and efficient. I’m very to see the downfall of this hotel and I feel especially sorry for the staff, in other departments than the cleaning department, who have worked here very hard for many years.

I had booked in an early check on & paid for it & was greeted with «  check in is at 2pm » once that was sorted there was no recognition of my status as a gold member (which should have given me early check in anyway) so no drinks voucher - thanks for nothing - then the absolutely stupid iron solution - if you are only going to provide 2 irons for the hotel & force us to iron our clothes in the lobby you could at least ensure your 2 irons are clean & don’t leave stains on our clothes & have access to water & adjustable ironing boards - this is the dumbest ironing solution offered by any hotel I have stayed in anywhere in the world - it’s just a basic service you can’t privide

Room scores good, shuttlebus a plus, but hotel obviously understaffed and and leaves a lot to be desired in restaurants. Main one was closed and found their very mediocre cafetaria. Will eat at Schiphol first if there is a next time. Went to bar and waited for service next… didn’t come. had no breakfast so cannot comment. All in all hotel value for money, catering and bar score low.
