Our 9-day stay was excellent overall. We are extremely grateful for the early check-in. The room size, three beds, good instant coffee, good shower, plentiful clothes hangers, great wifi, Netflix, and location were all deeply appreciated. But we need to highlight the biggest flaw: **Communication** When we needed something (eg slippers not provided or replaced, body soap empty, face towels not replaced), communicating via the webchat was extremely frustrating. The chat logs will show that you were simply not responsive, on multiple occasions! We had to solve problems ourselves, eg. - go down to the front desk to get slippers and body soap - get slippers and face towels directly from Housekeeping. That’s pretty unacceptable, especially since you don’t provide a phone in the room. The two male front desk staff we dealt with were not very professional. They looked bored, as though they didn’t want to be there. And before this email, we received another automated email from Mercure via no…, and clicking the button “Share feedback” didn’t launch any webpage at all. These gaps give us the impression that you aren’t serious about communication, and service. This aside, we were very happy with the hotel room, and were very well rested each night.

We stayed at the Mercure for 5 days this trip. We have been here before and keep coming back. The location is right by one of the Metro stations - Station Noord. The staff is very informative, helpful and your requests are handled with care. The room itself is clean, comfortable - a reasonable amount of space, with a fairly large bathroom.
