This hotel is in a perfect location. Right beside the metro station which makes it so easy to get around Amsterdam. There is also a wonderful food court and two grocery stores within the station. And it's a safe neighborhood to take a walk in. We would definitely stay at this hotel.

Checked in by Lex, who was very helpful and friendly, making the start of our stay very promising. Since we arrived early and our room wasn’t ready yet, we left our luggage in storage and went out to explore. Before and after booking, every time I emailed the hotel, I always received a response back. Not always immediately, but always at some point, which really helped since we were travelling from 🇨🇦. We also met Marina at the front desk, who was extremely helpful. She booked a museum tour for us and also recommended visiting Haarlem, which was a great suggestion. Housekeeping was amazing throughout our stay. We had the DND sign on our door twice, and one day housekeeping even left a note saying, “Sorry we missed you” 😱🥇 — such a thoughtful touch. The Mercure location was fantastic — less than a 5-minute walk to Noord Station, and from there under 10 minutes to Amsterdam Central Station. We highly recommend this hotel; the location is excellent and the staff are truly amazing 🥇. During checkout, the staff were very busy, so I went to drop my key in the box at the desk. One of the girls still took the time to personally take the key from me and thank me for staying. Within 10 minutes, I received an email thanking us for our stay, which showed she had already completed our checkout. Great attention to detail and service. I wasn’t very satisfied with the bar experience or the food choices, although we did go quite late, so that may have been part of the
