Whilst I like this hotel. The Petite did look a little tired and tatty. With a little effort this could be changed.

No issues with check in. Room was in a separate building across the street. The entrance hall was dirty. It looked like it was rarely cleaned. The room itself was caked in dust. I stay in a lot of hotels for work and this was the first time I felt the need to buy wipes and clean the surfaces. I did think about complaining but given the state of the reception areas I guessed there was no point. The bathroom drains had a terrible smell and I poured boiling water in to make it tolerably. Unfortunately stuck in the room for the weekend due to my conference. If this was a personal stay I would have left. The breakfast was fine, not exceptional. The main hotel building looked better. No recognition of Accor status. Having had 3 poor stays at different accor hotels I am rethinking my association with them. I am on track to become a platinum member but now think I will switch to another chain.
