Hotel as such is nice, people at the desk are friendly. Pity you cannot switch off the airco at night, mine was making a scraping noise all night and it was way too cold. Big minus: You cannot get close to the hotel without passing the "Ahoy" gates which cost you €21. That is brutal so unless you go walking, the parking/access to the hotel is €21(not owned by IBIS by the way. M< hotelroom was next to the upper deck of the parking garage who have very bright light on all night. But...the curtains are very good so no issue. The room was above IBIS average so plenty of space.

Bed, pillows & duvet very comfy, food, excellent, very clean, it had all amenities that you would need. Location excellent if going to a concert in Ahoy Arena. We would definitely stay again if in Rotterdam.

I booked this hotel since it was close to Ahoy for a concert we were attending. Fabulous choice! We walked across the parking lot to the Ahoy, which was perfect. The hotel was clean, the room was spacious and quiet, and the bed was comfortable. We had dinner at the hotel, and the restaurant food was amazing. Highly recommend this hotel. Loved the funky decor.

For one night stay on our journey back home hotel is conveniently located, close to park and lake, shops, restaurants. Hotel itself with a bit strange decor, not exacly clean bathroom and avarage breakfast place itself as 5/10.

I was quite happy with everything, the look, the staff, the accommodation. The only thing is that I got a sore throat everything I was in my room. The moment I left my room it went away. I’m quite sensitive to that but it was a downer, maybe the ac needs to be dusted or something like that.

The hotel is just a five-minute walk from Zuidplein metro station, which is very well connected to Rotterdam Centraal (just 10 minutes away). There is also a lovely park right in front of the hotel, perfect if you feel like going for a stroll or simply relaxing. The hotel staff are very kind and always willing to help. I also really appreciated the restaurant voucher I was offered after choosing to forgo room service — such a thoughtful gesture that made my stay even more enjoyable. What truly won me over, though, was the hotel's distinctive design. Everything feels fresh, colourful and modern, while at the same time having an almost dreamy, whimsical quality. The playful details, imaginative decorations and carefully chosen colours give the interiors a unique personality and create a wonderfully immersive atmosphere. It feels contemporary without being cold or impersonal — quite the opposite: there is something warm, creative and almost enchanting about the whole place. Definitely one of the most memorable hotel interiors I have come across.

Together with my Son, I was cycling throughout the Netherlands. When we arrived in Rotterdam at the hotel, there was no bicycle garage at first. After making clear that it was for us unacceptable to leave our bikes (worth a small car) out side. The clerk at the desk first told me bad-luck, after asking for the manager the bikes could be stored between the qpark and hotel safely guarded.

Very disappointing stay. Our booked room wasn't available, so we got a different, poorly cleaned room. The old AC was broken and couldn't be turned off — my husband and I got sick from the cold. No parking either. Won't return to this Ibis hotel."
