I booked the hotel because it comprises of a restaurant. At arrival the hotel appeared to be under construction with the kitchen out of order. The restaurant only offered a pizza menu. Moreover, the hotel interior is quite outdated and requires a facelift.

We are sorry to hear that certain aspects of your stay did not meet your expectations. At the moment, our ground floor is undergoing a renovation. In a few months, we will be opening a fully refurbished lobby and a brand-new restaurant. Additionally, a new wing with 104 rooms is being built at the rear of the hotel. We understand that the ongoing works may have influenced your experience, and we sincerely regret any inconvenience caused. Regarding the restaurant, we would like to clarify that our kitchen is open and we continue to serve starters, main courses, and desserts. However, outside regular opening hours or during peak times, we may offer an adjusted menu — such as pizzas — to ensure that guests can still enjoy a meal. We are sorry if this was not clearly communicated during your stay. One of our managers has attempted to reach you by phone to better understand what happened, but unfortunately was unable to get in touch. Ibis Tilburg is a lovely place to stay and very well located. The employees are friendly and helpful, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. They are a bit small, though, and a few details—like some lamps and the bathroom door handle—could use a little maintenance. Overall, it’s a pleasant and convenient place to stay.

I stayed one night on a business trip. It was really sad to recognize that for dinner the restaurant could not provide anything fully vegan meal. All I could eat after travelling 12 hours was a pear. Same issue occured during breakfast. Only thing that I could take was fruits. Soya milk I got when asked. There was no yougurts, tofu, beans, hummus- nothing basically. My room was not clean. I noticed that sheets were not changed. On the other side of the bed I found someone´s pussyhair. Also the tab in the toilet was leaking to floor because pipe was stuck. Really not what I expected to get during the visit. Need to skip this hotel in the future.
