Always welcoming staff. Clean and convenient rooms (though WiFi could be faster). A bit older but well-maintained. Always a good choice for me in Groningen.

NOT the best!! I told after the 1st night the receptionist that my window cannot be closed so its very cold in the night, I was told they will have a look, nothing happened....Breakfast is sub-par, no onsite gym, cleaning every 3rd day only. This hotel is like a dormitory, should have no more than 2 stars. Next time im traveling to Groningen, I will do whatever I can to avoid returning here.

Everything we needed was present in the room. We walked part of the Pieterpad, and to come back in the evening to rest in a very comfortable room was the cherry on top of a great weekend!

The room was ok, but the closing mechanism of the window is outdated and broken! During cold season, the room will get cold quickly. The heater's thermostat didnt have numbers to indicate heat level; and there is just a loose cable attached to it. The thermostat can be turned clock- or counterclockwise indefinitely without knowing what the heater is set to. Consequently the room is either super cold or super hot. Very inconvenient!
