Fine hotel, with good food. O ly thing I did not like is the heater that I could not turn off and the airco makes too much noise

However, we understand your concerns regarding the temperature control system and the noise it produced, as well as the size of the shower area. We strive to maintain a comfortable environment in each guest room and apologize for any inconvenience you experienced. Moreover, we are sorry to hear about the difficulties you faced with the Wi-Fi connectivity, which impacted your ability to use personal devices like a Chromecast. Although our hotel does not currently offer smart TVs, we hope this limitation did not significantly detract from the overall enjoyment of your stay. We hope you were able to appreciate the prime location of our hotel, conveniently situated next to the Martiniplaza Event & Conference Center and the serene Stadspark, offering easy access to Groningen's vibrant city center. Very unfortunate that as an All Accor Gold member I have to pay up to 15% more via the All site than theBooking.com site!

We regret to hear about the discrepancy you encountered between the pricing on our official ALL site and that of external booking platforms. Can you please provide more information on the rate, this because we have rate parity and ALL members always have a lower rate on our own site. We hope you were able to enjoy the easy access to local attractions and the comfort of our hotel during your stay. The Stadspark just behind us is a serene spot to relax, and the proximity to Martiniplaza Event&Conference Center is ideal for attending events. This location had great front-desk staff, nice rooms, but the restaurant has some challenges.

Your front desk staff were very good. Check in and departure were very pleasant, and quick. And through may stay the front desk staff were very helpful. The room was good, though the addition of face cloths in the bathroom would be a nice addition. My experience with foodservice was mixed. The staff at the breakfast buffet were very nice and helpful. The addition of more fresh fruit on the breakfast buffet would be nice. As well, keeping all the hot items in boiling steam warmers means that the condensation ends up soaking the food items, which was unappetizing. My experience with dinner in the restaurant was not good. The manager/head waiter was very rude and abrupt. When I showed up (18:30) and asked for a table for 1 for dinner i was told by him that there was no option for dinner before 20:00. This is despite the fact that the majority of the tables in the dining area were empty. I asked what options there may be around the hotel in the immediate area. His reply was "nothing". So I went to the lounge area and had a drink. In the 90 minutes while I waited for a table for dinner most of the tables remained empty. At 20:00 I moved to the restaurant side for dinner, and underwent the abrupt and rude service of the waiter who seemed to be in charge that evening. Considering the experience of dinner at your hotel, for the remaining two nights of my stay I ate in the town centre rather than at the the hotel.

We appreciate your suggestions regarding the breakfast selection and will certainly consider how we can improve the presentation of our hot dishes. Regarding your dinner experience, we are truly sorry to hear about the service you received from our restaurant manager. This does not reflect the high standard of hospitality we aim to provide, and we will address this internally to ensure a more welcoming environment for our guests. Furthermore, we are sorry to learn that your ALL membership status was not adequately recognized during your stay. We value our loyal members and will be reviewing our procedures to ensure better recognition in the future. Nonetheless, we hope that the efforts of our staff at the breakfast buffet contributed to a positive start to your day. Nice room, easy reachable by highway, however very hard to reach Groningen Centre.

Our location next to the Martiniplaza Event and Conference Center and the Stadspark, offers our guests a combination of convenience and natural beauty. However, we regret to hear about the difficulties you experienced with the shower sewer and reaching Groningen Centre. We take all feedback seriously and are currently reviewing these matters to better serve our guests. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused during your stay. - Great value for your money, not pricey at all (and booked directly with the hotel, not third-party). - Great location for our event at Martiniplaza. Mere minutes away. - Acceptable walking distance from the train station. - Beds are very comfortable and very large. (Our booking request for separate beds wasn't met, but this was not a big issue at all because the beds were so sizeable.) - Hotel itself is very green-minded (no bottled water, little use of plastic, etc.) - Staff was very friendly, offered us a free cup of coffee during our wait for the rooms to be ready. - The shower might've been nicer if it had a door that closed (had to be careful moving about whilst using it). - Atmosphere was quiet and relaxed. Very pleasant. Would absolutely recommend staying here. If any of us are to visit Groningen again, we'll try to book here.
