funny breakfast box, cold in room, problems with invoices

A Business - Confirmed reviews ALL

During my last visit i asked for breakfast box because i had to leave hotel at 5:30. Lady in reception told me that for breakfast will be some sandwiches, fruits etc. and i can get tea and coffee take away (cup with lid). Finally breakfast was ready at 5:45, but when i opened a box - there were: 1 banan, 1 apple and 1 jogurt. When i asked for tea and coffee - lady had a problem with finding a cup, when asked for lid - lady told me that they do not have lid for cups... Finally i left hotel without breakfast with half cup of a coffee. I completely do not understand why lady day before told me that will be normal package and finally i got like this (2 fruits and jogurt for breakfast for 25 euro?)? I am still waiting for money back for the breakfast and untill now i didnt get it. Next thing is that in the room was very cold. I used this hotel few times and always there is a problem with invoices. After many reminders i am getting invoices for the stay.

Not the 1st time in this hotel. I really enjoy the stay, but the access to public transportation is very hard.

We apologize if the descriptions in our app were not as clear as you would have preferred and if the convenience of transport connections did not meet your expectations. Our location, while advantageous for visiting Martiniplaza Event&Conference Center and the Stadspark, may require a short walk to the nearest bus stop for city center access. We appreciate this feedback as it assists us in improving the experience for all our guests. We hope you managed to take advantage of our prime location to explore the many attractions in and around Groningen. The Stadspark is ideal for a leisurely stroll or jog and the city center, with its museums and shopping areas, is a short bus ride away, offering a blend of cultural and retail therapy. These amenities are part of our commitment to providing a comfortable and convenient experience for our guests. However, we regret to hear that locating the correct highway exit was challenging and that you experienced disturbance from noise. Additionally, we apologize for the unpleasant odor in your room; please know that cleanliness and guest comfort are top priorities for us, and we will look into this matter. Although our location by the A7 highway offers easy access for many travelers, we understand that it can be tricky to navigate for some, and we are always available to provide detailed directions to assist our guests. We also acknowledge your comment regarding noise and want to mention that we offer quieter rooms at the back of the hotel and provide earplugs upon request. Finally, we hope you were able to appreciate the convenience of having a fridge in your room to store refreshments and the quality of our breakfast offerings, including the fresh orange juice. The hotel's location, while outside the city center, is still within a pleasant walking distance and offers a peaceful retreat near the beautiful Stadspark. Good location beside Martiniplaza. Room was acceptable, some staining on carpet which could have done with being steam cleaned to try to remove. Some of the shower buttons were missing, making it a bit difficult to turn the shower on. Breakfast was okay, lack of replenishing hot food.

Hotel was booked last minute . No research done , I do stay a bit at Accor hotels, The window was dripping water, I had been told all rooms are like this , also substantial mould around windows/ aircon didn’t work well therefore it was very musty in the room Staff was however nice - location ok
