The first room (605) that I moved in to was not clean at all. As an example, check the sofa in that room. I think somebody with diarree was sitting on that coach ! The reception was so kind to give me another room (609). Please check that room as well as the wall between the bathroom and bedroom was wet. Also, somebody must have thrown a cup of coffee against the wall (see the wall behind the bed; see large spot close to the ceiling).... Both rooms need serious deep cleaning !!

The restaurant was great. The food was good. The room was standard. Some annoying noises, probably from the refrigerator or heating. Personally i didn't like the pillows. I brought my own :-)

Second time stay. Beautiful hotel almost perfect. Room is extremely noisy if your room close to elevators. My room number was 1111 it was right next to elevators.

Comfortable but mistakes by receptionists

Comfortable hotel, friendly welcome by the receptionist on 18th Nov 2019. My initial reservation was from 18th -20th Nov 2019. On 20th early morning I asked to extend my stay with one more night (21st Nov 2019) which was fine. I asked for the invoice for my earlier 3-nights stay to declare to my work institution. I had already paid when booking it. T I got a hard copy invoice with wrong title on it : Mr H Latif-S.! I am Mrs. H. Latif-S.. My institution will not be happy when they see my invoice with the title Mr! Therefore, I need my invoice for 3 nights ( 18 -20 November 2019) as email attachment. Thankyou.

This hotel is great when you are visiting for Erasmus university and even the Centre of Rotterdam. My only major issue was my room was not cleaned, towels, paper cups not replaced - it was irritating to step into an untidy room after a long day of hard work. also, for a 4-star, I would expect earbuds in the bathroom as well.

The staff was extremely helpful. We arrived late and wanted to make tea, but found that the top of the kettle was missing. A new kettle was brought to us just in five minutes after I talked to the reception. It was my son’s birthday and he was so surprised to see the room decorated for him when we returned to the hotel in the evening. Besides, there was a handwritten card and some fruits and sweets for him, He was absolutely happy! thank you again for taking care! I didn’t take any slippers with me as I was sure that they would be in the hotel 4*, but they weren’t.

Me and 2 friends stayed in a room with a 2-person bed + a sleeping couch for only one day. At arrival we were greeted very friendly and were helped quickly. Our room & bathroom were huge! They exceeded our expectations. Roomservice came by shortly after to see if everything was clean and if we needed anything else. We had a radio in the room that worked perfect with bluetooth and a TV that could’ve been bigger but worked as expected. The room did not have an iron/iron board but after calling the reception to ask for one, we received one within 5 minutes. Overall very satisfied! Even at check out, we were kindly helped with a smile. Only tip: I called the reception a few times and my phone did not get answered and kept ringing for at least 5 minutes before I decided to hang up. It would’ve been nice to have some automatic message that tells me that the receptionist was busy.

The bed top sheet had a hole of 1 cm. In the bathtub corners the sealant was mouldy. The toilet seat had stains, which could not be removed, but made it look unclean. Otherwise all positive.

The hotel itself is outdated, but clean. And the staff is very friendly and helpful. I only stayed for 1 night, so it was in and out. But right next door to the event I attended, so I could walk to and from, which was very convenient.

My stay in your hotel is always a great experience, however I have to admit that this time I came away feeling very deflated. It is normal for me to get an upgrade, I guess , one due to the number of times I stay in the hotel, but also due to Gold member status. Not getting an upgrade this time was no big deal, and was due to how busy the hotel was. I think the issue was probably caused by expectation not being matched by reality, new staff who were not used to knowing you, and therefore not engaging , or willing to take the extra few seconds with you, feeling isolated the whole week in the hotel, a general lack of care and attention, I felt quite dismissed. These are some of the main reasons why I stay at the hotel I the first place, and 9 times out of 10 I am very happy. This time, I came away , not feeling unhappy, but as I say just a bit deflated.
