The single beds were little bit uncomfortable for the larger gentlemen. But other then that it was lovely

This hotel is in a very convenient location if you need to be at Erasmus University Rotterdam. Staff at reception was very friendly and welcoming and the room is spacious and at first sight looks comfortable. Unfortunately, the beds are extremely soft though. That is of course a matter of personal preference and some guests may like the soft mattresses, but I couldn't sleep on them. Fortunately, there was a sofa in the room that was large enough to sleep on and much more comfortable than the beds;-) I might stay here again because of the location, but in terms of beds this would probably not be my first choice.

The hotel maintains a good standard of cleanliness and the rooms are high-quality, though a bit dimly lit. The location was perfect for my conference, and the surrounding university area is lively and well-connected to the city center via the nearby station. However, the service experience was mixed: the reception staff felt somewhat cold, and the restaurant service needs improvement. At breakfast, there was no guidance on the food layout ( searched for something several times and no one proposed support), and during dinner, I had to raise my hand multiple times to get any attention from the staff (without success). A more guest-oriented approach would definitely elevate the experience.

This is a great hotel. I regularly stay in Novotel and it was actually the first time this was acknowledged upon arrival. We got a great deal on the rooms and we enjoyed the view over Rotterdam. We had dinner in the hotel one night, which was nice but the only thing that was ‘forgettable’ about the hotel, it didn’t stand out. Easy check-out. All good. Would recommend!

Overall the stay was comfortable. But the gym opens at 7 AM, which is too late for working people. It needs to be accessible by atleast 6 AM, so that there is enough time to work-out, fresh-up, and head to meetings before 8:30 AM. Hope you consider this feedback.
