Staying at the ibis Rotterdam City Centre is always a pleasure for me during my business trips: it is well located in the historical part of the city, less than 5 minute walk from Maritim Museum, Blaak station, the covered market, many restaurants and cafes. Rooms are comfortable and quiet, always very clean. Breakfast is also enjoyable before starting a new day, as it offers good choice of food. Finally, I find the staff friendly and professional. Last but least, this hotel offers a good value for money and I could well consider it for a leisure trip.

Dear Team, I wanted to share some feedback regarding my recent stay at your hotel. Unfortunately, it was not a pleasant experience. Upon arrival, I noticed that there was only one person attending to guests at the counter, while two other staff members were visible in the background but not assisting. This left a poor first impression. When I entered my room, I found it to be dirty. There was a large black spot on my pillow, and only one pillow was provided. Additionally, the sheets had hair on and under them. To make matters worse, a lady from the reception knocked on my door asking if I had ordered a heater because the A/C was off. Although it wasn't me who made the request, I took the opportunity to ask for a new pillow. She promptly brought me two pillows and questioned why there was only one initially. I also showed her the dirty bathroom sink, to which she responded that there was nothing she could do because the spots had apparently melted into the material due to poor choice of materials. Since I was only staying for one night, I decided to let it go, even though she offered to change my room. The next morning, during check-out, the lady at the counter was grumpy, did not smile, and was not talkative at all, contributing to an overall unpleasant experience. Given these issues, I would recommend that my company consider another hotel for future stays. However, I understand that your hotel is the closest to our location. Thank you for your attention to these matters.

Shower was broken and I did not receive an invoice as promised

Perfect stay in the middle of Rotterdam City. We had a nice and clean room facing the water. The hotel looks very cosy, warm, but also modern. Breakfast was delicious and the staff was very nice. Perfect location for shopping and do some sight seeing in Rotterdam.

At ibis Rotterdam City Centre, we strive to provide a peaceful environment for our guests, especially given our location in a quiet area of the Wijnhaven harbor. While we do offer a breakfast buffet, it is not included in the room rate to allow our guests flexibility in their dining choices. Our breakfast is available for €16 per adult and €8 per child, served from 7-10 on weekdays and 7-12 on weekends. We hope we will have the opportunity to see you again in the future.
