I enjoyed my stay in this Ibis Hotel. Compared with some other Ibis Hotels I have stayed in, the Rotterdam CIty Centre has pleasant double rooms for single occupancy with a simple effective shower and very good plumbing. The staff on the day time desk were very pleasant and helpful, the breakfast generous and varied. The Hotel is situated in an excellent area of Rotterdam, quiet and along a canal front and the atmosphere inside is relaxed. The lifts are speedy. The only area I noted that needed improvement was in the knowledge of the bar and restaurant staff. The very new young woman on the bar did not know the difference between dry and sweet wine(!) and in the restaurant my starter was brought out just after the main course. A little more training before exposing young people to the public would not come amiss!

Did not respect the prices detailes on my reservation at All.accor.com

I was charged more for breakfast than what my reservation indicated. Reservation showed 15.00€ for breakfast, but they claimed that price was 18€ when I was paying for it. They said that their hotel pricelist is the valid one, that the website is not. So if I make a reservation at the ALL Accor web indicating a price seems to have no validity at all then at this hotel. Seems they can change your final price anytime they want. Even after showing at the front desk that the price in the RESERVATION CONFiRMATION said 15€, they still charged the 18€ and said I could make a complaing later if I did not agree. No words to express the feeling as most of the time I have been told that the Accor Website is the only direct way to make online reservations with the hotels.
