We're 15 minutes' drive from Vuurtoren Westerlicht lighthouse and also from the aquarium on Neeltje Jans island. Active pursuits are plentiful, with Molenberg golf club just five minutes' walk away. High-octane activities like kite surfing and skydiving are also available in the area. Discover local history at the medieval Plompe Tower and the Watersnoodmuseum.

We're an hour's drive from both Rotterdam The Hague Airport and the ferry terminal for voyages from the UK. There's a bus stop 12 minutes' walk from our hotel, where you can pick up buses for Neeltje Jans island and the Watersnoodmuseum.

Arrived. Got room, but hot tub wasn’t switched on. Needed to move rooms. New hot tub was pretty dirty and gross. Wouldn’t return.

We had a great night's sleep, and the room is spacious and well-decorated. The hotel is perfect as a stopover or a short stay for biking or walking. However, the air conditioning is a bit noisy and creates very dry air. The minibar was empty, and there was no still or sparkling water in the room, which one would expect from a hotel branding itself as luxury. The breakfast is a bit basic too (only two types of bread, which were even baked off). However the price-quality was good (February).

Room was OK, but problem with shower, water didn't flew away as should be, so bathroom floor was all wet, and toilet problem.

We had an overall very pleasant stay at Hotel Ter Zand. The room was comfortable, clean, and well maintained – exactly what we were hoping for. One thing to note: housekeeping during the stay is only provided upon request, which is fine as long as you know in advance. Unfortunately, the pool and sauna area in the neighboring hotel did not meet our expectations. Both were very crowded and quite small, which made it difficult to relax. The sauna was also surprisingly cool and not properly hot, so the whole wellness experience felt rather disappointing. What really made our stay special, however, was the staff: extremely friendly, attentive, and welcoming. They truly made the experience enjoyable. A special thank you and compliment goes to Wouter Oldeman, who deserves particular recognition for his outstanding service and kindness.
