From the moment we arrived at The Grand we were treated with the upmost care and attention. The staff could not do enough for us - and all with a smile and friendly disposition. The room was amazing and gave a lovely view of the centre of Amsterdam. The amazing thing is that at night you could not hear the hustle and bustle from outside with all of the tourists. I would recommend their breakfasts (all cooked to order and tasted fantastic!) and also their strawberry tart for afternoon tea is a plus. If anyone wants to have a five star stay with five star service too then this is the place. I would highly recommend and will definitely be coming back next year.

Incredible breakfast , really delicious. The location is great, the staff are friendly. My only issue was with the bed, it is too soft that the mattress curves in the middle overnight. But other than that, really wonderful hotel.

Four day stay (Sunday - Wednesday) in one of the Canal Suite apartments (an upgrade by Guest Services). Butler service was enthusiastic an responsive. Concierge service was informative and helpful with restaurant choices & reservations (Lucius, Incanto, Brasserie Keyser). Hotel food services were delicious and lunch, breakfast an tea were well served by staff. Ideally situate for walking the Old City. Car service to the airport was luxurious and efficient. Front desk staff, led by Robin (manager), was courteous and always available.
