This is our second time staying at Sofitel Legend The Grand Amsterdam and it was amazing. The staff are very helpful and friendly, the hotel is very clean and organized, food is perfect both in the restaurant and room dine-in, and the location is perfect. This hotel is a true legend and never disappoints you.

We had a great one week stay at The Grand Amsterdam. Staff was very courteous, helpful. The breakfast food and service was outstanding. Concierge arranged guided tours of the city, and had fantastic fine dining recommendations. Also had great massages at the spa. Overall highly recommend to anyone visiting Amsterdam.

We truly enjoyed our stay at The Grand Sofitel in Amsterdam. Service was friendly and very accommodating. The hotel has so much history too. And, it is centrally located. You can walk to restaurants, Dam Square, take canal rides, catch the underground. It’s all right there.

We stayed at Sofitel Legend The Grand for the Easter weekend with our 2 young children and would happily stay again. The staff were attentive & very helpful whenever required. The Easter bunny & Easter egg hunt each morning for the children was a lovely touch. Breakfast was excellent, with anything you could possibly want & very fresh too. We also loved having drinks in the courtyard.

Everything in the hotel met our requirements and we enjoyed our suite. Staff was wonderful and handled everything from booking a private Grachten boat tour, to dining reservations, calling taxis, helping us schedule our pre-flight corona tests. Special thanks to Madeleine, who went above and beyond the call of duty to help us get our corona test results when the online passwords would not work. We had a 5 star experience in a 5 star hotel. From the moment we arrived, service was great. We were welcomed warmly and enjoyed the most amazing iced tea. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a bed we wanted to take home with us. We dined at The Oriole, which had outstanding food and good service. If we return to Amsterdam, we will return to The Grand.

The hard product is very good and the employees and kind, but the overall impresion is that the hotel is disorganized: long waiting times in breakfast, lack of attention to details, people messing up your orders, etc.

Our stay was excellent from start to finish. We were given an early check-in which was much appreciated given our 9am arrival. We were also provided a free upgrade at arrival. The staff demonstrated tremendous hospitality throughout - every touch point was thoughtful. The accommodations were elegant without being stuffy. Breakfast at the "Bridges" restaurant was excellent, as well.

Excellent. A 10 on 10. Great location, but most notable was the superb service of every section. Lovely rooms, toilets, with bidets, and when I left my iPad in the reception by oversight, the security officer picked up and ensured it was safe. Was a busy hotel and could have lost but for alert security. Next also praiseworthy was the exceptional concierge, who could quickly give us the best dining options, which we may have normally missed on the online searches.
