Nice Hotel, bedrooms and friendly staff. Two single beds did not stay together, You could really fall between the two beds at Night. Breakfast ok but a bit too expensive for what was offered.

Not worth the amount

Checkin was nice, but a bit slow, I had to point out that I am a member, got my welcome drinks eventually. Bed was missing part of the foot at the head side, so bed was crooked. Fixed quickly by someone who didn't smell too fresh, our room rieked a lot. Paid a lot of money for a late checkout, (4pm) however, was interupted 4 times including phonecalls and housekeeping coming into our room 3 times from 12 - 15. Found out the room was checked out while we were still sleeping. Pre-paid for parking, card was never validated. I had to point that out at checkout. Room very small, remodelled hostel, it gives that feel indeed. No return for me at this location.

We booked a room for a fellow traveler that did not speak English so she would have a place to sleep since our KLM flight was canceled. After making the reservation, she was lucky enough to be put on another flight and did not need the room. We told the front desk what happened when we arrived and they refused to refund our money. We also wrote to the Mercure hotel and told them of our situation and again they refused to refund our money. I would never ever stay at this hotel again. I would prefer to sleep in the airport.

Breakfast fees is not clear

The hotel is nice, room clean and calm (although it is located just next to the motorway to the airport). We were there for the Amsterdam marathon and the hotel was not prepare for this event even if we were numerous in my situation (the hotel is 35 minutes walking distance to the marathon start). The staff of the hotel did not know anything about bus to go there or how to go there. No specific breakfast or after marathon treat. The breakfast fee was another experience. The reception announced when we arrived that the breakfast is included and in the morning the lady who is in charge of controlling told us it is not included. Of course she did not check with the reception and ask us to check for it. For a Mercure hotel, 4 stars hotel, it is surprising.
