The stay at the hotel was good. They even gave us an early check-in at 9AM. The room was neat and clean. Breakfast was good. Only 1 suggestion from side, if you can offer atleast 1 bottle per person per room per day, it would be good.

Photo on canal is misleading

I booked this hotel due to an image implying that the was located near the canal. It is not. Instead it is in the the middle is nowhere. Very disappointed with the misleading photographs. The hotel was also fairly dilapidated with broken glass in the carpet hallway.

The hotel is very expensive for the value it provides. Service is extremely bad, the hallway to the rooms smells like humidity and the hotel is on the cheap side of things. Also, the food at the restaurant is terrible.

Well located

The initial outlook was slightly bad, as we had to wait about 20 minutes before we could check in, and the person at the front desk was a little rude to us and inpatient, despite us patiently waiting before. I also wish it was more clear the city tax was not included in the price beforehand and that large bed we booked was simply two doubles pushed together. After this, however, the staff in the morning was much more helpful and nice, the hotel was really conveniently located for us and the rooms were quite nice.

In the middle of nowhere

Hotel is very dated. Room was renovated except the bathroom door which was very weird. Assumed there was a shuttle to the airport but no. This adds EUR 30-40 to the stay.

Very good experience. Ideally situated between Amsterdam and the Keukenhof. Top staff. Large room. Quiet. The only counterpart is that the Metro , if needed, is at about 25 mn walking distance.

Well located good value airport parking and good rooms

Positive especially very local frequent bus service to the airport if not too much luggage. Big negative is the restaurant very very limited awful offer and closes very early not convenient for airport travel. Covid issues no longer an excuse. I stay in Accor hotel very often being a Diamond member and this is currently the worst offer I have seen in Europe from very many accor hotels. The Ibis close by is much much better and open until 11PM

The rooms are always late at the check in moment, they claim to be a 4 star hotel but they can not even organize their staff to clean the rooms. Out the 5 days stay, the room was only cleaned once. Also I was in one of the Junior suits where they promise to will refill your minibar daily.. so guess what really happened, it was never refilled. Not even a bottle of water. Also the menu at the restaurant is very limited, and because of the location of the hotel, there is nothing nearby to eat something different.

My flight cancelled however i paid the same amount of 2 nights plus 2000 ALL points however i only take 1 night in your hotel. Also I am Platinum however is not entitled for the breakfast I need to pay myself for the breakfast. When i book suppose should be 4 star hotel but my feeling is max 3 star and not even have any upgrade since my Platinum tier suppose have upgrade. I don't see any advantaged when i holding Platinum.

When checking in we was greeted by a lovely woman at reception (unfortunately didn’t get her name). Once checked in she gave us all the information we need about transport to the city centre and stated I had money remaining on my account, she had covered all my question before I even asked them. Very clean room and was the perfect stay for us would highly recommend and will be making a return to stay here in the near future.

Was ok but we had to ask for beverages for the room ie tea coffee and cups it was never offered to us. The kettle in our room was a disaster waiting to happen. The on off button didn’t even exist any more so had to pull plug out. Needs replacing ASAP. People walking corridors with no masks. Nowhere near as good as other Mercure we have stayed at. Downstairs bar area etc seemed nice but elsewhere was shabby. Location good for schipol

Dear Judy, I am sorry to hear about the kettle in your room. We have 24 hours reception, if they were informed about this I am sure they would've been happy to bring you a new kettle. We inform everybody that wearing a mask in the public areas of the hotel is mandatory. We do this at check-in and we have posters informing people about this. Unfortunately, it can occur that some people do not follow this rule. If we notice this we will inform people they have to wear as mask. Due to Covid-19 we do not have coffee and tea in the room. As I understand the front office did offer you this at check-in, but you wanted to go to the city first and pick it up later. You never returned. I am are sorry to read we did not meet you expectations.
