Our experience at the ibis Amsterdam City West hotel was good. There is a bus stop opposite to the hotel which enables easy access to the city centre. The breakfast was good and had enough variety. The hotel staff was kind. The only negative feedback that we have concerns the air conditioning in the room: it did not function well enough. Sleeping with the window open wasn’t an option either because of the noise coming from outside (even though we stayed on the top floor).

Our stay was good over all. Location was great, staff was friendly. Breakfast wasn’t that good, the coffee was pretty bad. The holder of the shower head was broken and the fan needed cleaning in the bathroom.

Great location, easy to get into town with the bus and train, lovely food, helpful staff, clean and tidy reception, food was good. But we woke up in the last day covered in red dots on our skin which developed into nasty bites on while waiting to travel home

We had a warm welcome. The check in staff were helpful, and provided information on getting into the city by bus 22 (there’s a bus stop just outside the hotel and buses are frequent) and around the city by bus, tram and canal. The room was spacious, clean and tidy. We had a restful night’s sleep; it was quiet and comfortable. We enjoyed a great breakfast to kickstart our day and a night cap in the bar after a long day sightseeing.
