I had another excellent stay at ibis Amsterdam City West, a hotel I regularly choose whenever I’m in Amsterdam. A special mention goes to Maciej, who took the time to personally check me in and made the experience genuinely welcoming. He shared information about what’s around the area and offered great local knowledge. Even though I know the area very well from previous stays, it was still really appreciated and showed a high level of care and professionalism. The room was clean, bright, and airy. It was a little warmer than I prefer, but this was easily managed as the windows do open, which made a big difference. Overall, another reliable and comfortable stay. 10/10, I’ll definitely continue to stay here when visiting Amsterdam.

The hotel has all the basics I need. The location is near a subway station, which is really convenient. I was also able to leave my luggage with the front desk safely, which is super helpful.

I was told to get extra daily points incase of no room cleaning but havent received any extra points.

This ensures that the points can be applied smoothly and without any issues. However, our front desk team is always available to clarify program details during the stay. While we offer various bedding options based on availability, we understand the importance of meeting specific requests and will review our assignment processes. The room was not clean - with a sticky substance on the desk as well as something black coming out of the air vents. The dirty towels stored on the floor smelled - not a very nice way to enter each floor. The sheets and towels provided in the rooms did not smell that great either. Very bad stay. One staff member could also work on his customer service. Will not stay here again and will advise all business associates the same.
