The only problem was the size of room. It was small for three persons - 2 adults/1 child. Otherwise, the staff was nice, room was clean, hotel itself large enough, food was good.

However, we apologize that the accommodation for three did not fully meet your expectations. We understand that comfort is key, especially when traveling with family. For future stays, we would like to suggest our Superior Rooms, which offer more space and a seating area, or the option for rollaway beds and free cots upon request for additional comfort. We are also currently in the process of adding Deluxe Rooms to our offerings, which will provide more spacious accommodation options. Nonetheless, it is wonderful that you found the hotel to be well-sized and the food to your liking. No elevator, smoker room - no information prior to booking

We spend 1 night in 2 rooms for Eur 250. What we expected was a fair stay. What we experienced was a stay full of trouble: a) the elevator did not work at all - fine if announced prior to the booking. Then the customer can make his decision considering this. Even then: Not even offering some gratuity for it, e.g. a beer at the bar is just a bad customer service. Customer: take the stairs and take care of all your luggage with it => really bad b) 2 days in advance we asked for quiet rooms. What we got was a room to the main street, and it was a smoking room - not officially of course but it was obvisous that somebody had smoked in there before. So we had to get down the stairs several times to finally get an alternative room. Still to the street. Still no excuses. ...and this after a day with 8 hours driving, being tired. We though that Novotel is a reliable hotel chain. what we found was the opposite. Please provide a follow-up feedback. Daniel P.S. And charging an extra of Eur 26 for a little dog is way too expensive, especially if again this price wasn't announced up-front when booking :-(

We understand the frustration this caused, however, we wish to clarify that you were offered the use of our staff elevator with the guidance of one of our team, which you declined as you were only on the first floor and were happy to take your own luggage. Regarding the room situation, it is regrettable that the room initially provided did not meet the non-smoking standards we aim to uphold. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention, and we immediately acted by arranging an alternative room for you. We can confirm that both rooms you were allocated were quiet rooms, however, they were not garden rooms as this request was not made prior to your arrival and all of this room type had been occupied by the time you arrived. Our pet surcharges are standard as with the majority of hotels and are in place to cover additional cleaning and sanitizing of our rooms to ensure a comfortable experience for arriving guests. It is disheartening to learn that our culinary offerings did not align with your expectations. Our goal is to provide high-quality that reflect the value, and we will take your feedback into serious consideration as we continuously work to enhance our dining experience. Furthermore, we regret that we weren't made aware of any dissatisfaction during your stay, our friendly team are always on hand to ensure a comfortable and satisfying experience. helpful and friendly staff

Experience was a bit rough. Air Conditioner did not work. Plus, the little cooler in the room was broke. warm and smelly. The staff at the bar, Hanika (I hope I am spelling it correctly) was VERY helpful, providing me with buckets of ice, and always cheerful and helpful when I ordered dinner. Mari at the front desk was also very helpful. They turned something unpleasant around throughout the week.
