Check was great with front house staff providing us maps and general ideas, they were also super throughout our stay including the room attendees. The hotel was perfect for my needs on this trip. It was in a fantastic location with public transport almost at the front door. I received an upgrade as an ALL Accor member, which was a nice surprise. The room was not large, but it was very clean, modern and there was room to lay out my suitcase and do everything I needed to do. The staff were probably the highlight - courteous and very helpful. I stored a few things in their fridge as there wasn't one in my room, and it was never a problem for them to go and get what I needed at any time. The hotel actually felt like a home away from home. In the morning I would go and grab a coffee from the (free) coffee machine in the little lobby, and then sit in the sunshine while waking up, just as I do at home! The price seemed very reasonable for the quality of the accommodation. Five stars all round!

We just wanted somewhere to stay that was central and near tram links. The bathroom room difficult to manage, not enough shelf space and the sink was too small when washing. Coat hooks behind doors would be useful.

Far too expensive (over 300 EUR/night) for the standard you offer is just too much. I got room number five which feels to be in a basement with no escape route since windows can't be open due to iron bars. Will report it to travel agent.

I was unlucky and got room number 2. Very bad infoor air, substandard room. The bathroom had been renovated which was a plus. There seems to be moisture problems in the room. It needs a quick renovation. Shocking price for that room per night.

Stayed here for two nights during a longer Netherlands trip and overall really enjoyed my stay. The hotel has more personality and character than a standard chain hotel and suited Amsterdam quite well. The highlight was the hospitality on arrival. I had booked a single room and the receptionist kindly upgraded me to a larger room after noticing I am quite tall. It was a thoughtful gesture and made a very positive first impression after travelling from Rotterdam. Unfortunately I did not catch her name, but she deserves credit for excellent customer service. The room itself was comfortable, with a more interesting style than a typical ibis room, and the small entrance area outside the hotel became a nice place to sit with a coffee before heading into the city. Main positives for me were the staff, the comfort of the room, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel. I would happily stay here again.

I paid for a slightly bigger room and only got given the smallest room and the shower screen was broken meaning water leaked out into the bathroom
