Japan is proud of its four distinct seasons, with spring running from March to May, summer from June to August, autumn from September to November, and winter from December to February. Spring is warm and mostly dry, with temperatures in the early to mid-twenties. Summer starts of rainy, and gets hotter and hotter up to around 35 degrees Celsius. Autumn is once again fairly warm, cooler than summer anyway, though it is also typhoon season. If you are travelling then keep an eye on the weather depending on where you are. Finally, winter wouldn't be complete without snow, and Japan has some of the best and deepest powdered snow in the world. Temperatures can still be mild up to around 20 degrees in some places, but does drop down to below zero in others
