1) toilet Amenities like toilet paper is on the floor why? 2) i am platinum and not upgrade 3) very dark the corridor and not enough lights

Good but rooms and corridors are rather dark. No full length mirror in the room. Hard to put on makeup.

This is my second stay at Mercure Tokyo Hibiya, the first stay was great. The second stay was fine, and the staffs were very friendly, but with some downsides and inconveniences: 1. The room is located at the opposite side of that of my first stay with loud noises of passing trains, especially at the late night and in the early morning, making me very difficult to have a good rest; 2. One of the tea bags provided is over the expiration date; 3. The hotel now is charging a fee for booking a taxi through the hotel reception, which is different from my first stay.

Enjoyed the stay. Rooms could be bigger but that is true of most hotels in Tokyo. Breakfast was outstanding.

We straggled in half asleep from an early flight and were just standing in the doorway when all of a sudden a lady rushed out to help us with our bags and gently ushered us to the front desk. She checked us in although it was still early and made us feel completely at home. That kind lady was Yumi. I went on to stay at a famous Ryokan and a luxury hotel on the same trip but I didn't quite get the same service. They were excellent sure. But Yumi was Real.
