Good price, nice onsen and pool, good location relative to what I wanted to do (beach, etc.) Disappointed that my prepaid reservation status was incorrect and it led to tension between myself and the check-in clerk. Please update your systems properly so guests and hotel can see the same payment status. Rooms are old and seriously require renovations, but at least the perimeter was clean. The mildew smell was also unpleasant but probably unavoidable considering how wet the rooms get from onsen, beach and pool. The shuttle bus was convenient but I wish it was promoted more on the website (maybe I didn't notice, however). I didn't know about it last year, and I came upon it by chance at the train station. The option should at least be communicated on confirmation emails. The staff were nice.
