Had 3 nights stay in Ibis Styles Kyoto Station, great location, comfortable stay, near ramen & sukiyaki restaurants, Aeon mall, Shinkansen is just a stone throw away. Free amenities, free drinks from machine (not sure if free is because of Accor Gold or other reason, as the write up besides the machine says it's 300 JPY per cup servings). Room was small, and the mattresses weren't sturdy as the topper is easily movable so the mattresses often get out of shape. The window can be opened, which gives us good ventilation.

Room is basic but the staff are helpful. Bfast spread is almost the same every day, try to be early as there are low replenishments towards the end.

Ibis styles is located opposite Kyoto station. Very convenient to catch shinkansen to other cities. The room was of a comfortable size and clean. Ch-in and ch-out were easy and the staff were v pleasant and helpful. Will stay here again if opportunity arises. The lounge was cosy.
