As an Accor Platinum member, I was quite disappointed with my experience during this stay. I have stayed at this hotel many times, and on most previous occasions, I was able to check in and receive my room shortly after arriving. However, this time, the Front Office informed me that I had to wait until exactly 12:00 PM, explaining that early check-in would only be available from noon. I checked again at around 11:30 AM, but was still told that I had to wait until 12:00 PM. I understand that early check-in is subject to availability, but given my previous experiences at this property and my Platinum status, the way this situation was handled was disappointing. Secondly, I fully understand and support the hotel's environmental policy regarding the reuse of linens. However, what I do not understand is why simply making the bed using the same bedsheets and duvet would be an issue. I was not requesting fresh linens, only that the existing bedding be properly made. I have stayed at this hotel many times, but unfortunately, this has been my most disappointing experience here so far.

Perfect location but weird bed. First there is no side table on one side even if there was clearly space for one. Then the way the mattress was set up left a depression at the head of the bed where my pillow kept falling into. Finally, the blanket was set up low so that it only reached to my stomach while my wife had to lay down with her head at my chest level so the blanket could cover to her shoulders

Check in and check out was super smooth. I didn’t get a chance to enjoy the breakfast due to an early flight, but instead the hotel provided a breakfast box. It allowed me to smoothly make my connections.

The reception staff is very nice and very good service mind. Room is clean. The location is perfect, very near Kyoto Station. The only problem is the bad smell coming from the bathroom drain. I think it might be coming from the floor drain. I tried pouring water to the floor drain hole, then the smell disappeared. However, once the water drained away and the drain dried out, the smell came back.

Rooms were clean and the beds comfy. Amenities were basic - drinking water is available for the tap in the bathroom sink and there are no complimentary drinks. Rooms on the small side but linen good quality. Close to train station and a great deal of accessible places.

The noise from ventilation fan in bathroom made it difficult to sleep, my room card was on and off at my door. There was always a wait for the lifts to serve the levels - all guests and staff were waiting most mornings to go up or come down.
