The rooms are basic and seem dated. The full board food and the public bath were both great which was the main reason we chose this hotel.

Stayed just 1 night, using 2 rooms (3 persons). Ocean view side oversees the sea, beautifull. Room size were regular, clean. Outstanding are the dinner and breakfast buffets. I recommend to book both (although steeply priced), since there are not many alternatives in close vicinity of the Hotel (especially after 18:00). The additional cost is definitely worth it. Restaurant is located on the top floor, beautifull view to to sea. Free drinks and snacks in the Lobby. Large ofuro (bath), incl. rotenburo (outside bath), changes men/women daily. Staff was very helpfull when the toilet reservoir in one of our rooms was dripping water (can be quite annoying in the night...). Hotel staff came to the room together with a handyman who fixed it (stopped the dripping) within 20min. Thank you ! All-in-all a very good experience !

I booked a room with 4 futons as indicated on the booking page, for my family of 2 adults and 2 kids. However, upon arrival, they only prepared 2 sets of futons. They refused to give me the pillow and mattress cover for the other two futons and claimed that for bookings through all accor app, children are not provided bedding. It was only after an hour, and showing them what is written on the booking confirmation that they said they will make an exception. My other booking was for a room of 2 single beds AND 2 futon beds. Upon check in, no futon was provided. Again, after much negotiation, they agreed to provide only ONE additional futon bed. I hope to get a clarification if your hotel is supposed to provide the bedding as stated on the booking confirmation? I have been to at least 8 mecure/grand mecure hotels (some booked via accor app, others via trip.com) and this is the first hotel that i encoutered this. I am not confident to book though accor app if this is not clarified. Apart from this, the rest of the facilities were pleasant. The check in encounter was unfortunated. I would also wish to compliment your staff Ms Kasai, who really tried her best to translate my messages to her booking manager and to persuade her manager that my booking indicated the bedding arrangement as 4 futon beds for first room and 2 single+2 futon for the second room.

Regarding reservations, we would like to explain the following policy under which we accept bookings. In Japan, accommodation rates are generally displayed on a per-person basis rather than per room. Based on this concept, the number of guests shown on Accor.com represents the maximum occupancy of the room, which may differ from the actual number of paying guests. For this reservation, we received a booking for two adults and two children staying free of charge. In such cases, children are expected to share the existing beds with adults. Should separate bedding be required for young children, an additional paid reservation is necessary. Accordingly, bedding for children is not usually provided under these conditions. However, in this instance, we considered the matter to be a misunderstanding arising from differences in reservation practices, and we therefore provided bedding for the children at no additional charge as a special courtesy. We will continue to make every effort to improve our guidance and reservation confirmation procedures so that all guests may enjoy a comfortable and worry-free stay.
