I had a really lovely time here. The front desk woman, Asahi (I'm sorry, I might not remember her name) was so sweet and helpful. She works at the customer service/excursion desk. The accommodations were very nice. The lazy river was relaxing. The slides and Boomerang were very exciting. The public bath was rejuvenating. It was up until the end of our trip that I was dissatisfied. We were not able to use the pool on our Friday check in so I asked the European girl, if we could use the pool on our Sunday check out. She said she could only allow us to use it until 11:00 check out time which upset my daughter and made her cry. I did not want to end our trip this way so we put our bags in the car and I talked to another man at the excursion desk if there was an extension and he said yes, until 3:00 which was perfect. I don't know why the first person could not accommodate us from the beginning. She very much upset the end of our trip. We were happy to have some extra hours relaxing, but she tainted our time there. I recommend more training for her so she does not ruin another's vacation. We spent a lot of money to have a good time.

Amenities are well maintained. Breakfast, snacks and drinks varieties are good. If the public bath hours can be extended longer will be better for the guest to enjoy.

A very strange hotel, which is definitely not 5-star, even though it is advertised as such on the Accor Hotels website. There is no porter in the lobby, no one helps with luggage, the staff are not very interested in guests, and practically no one, including many reception staff, speaks English. It looks like a hotel mainly for Japanese guests. It is clear that this is a renovated old hotel; not everything is new, e.g., the toilets in the lobby, elevators and the balconies are still old. The rooms are newly renovated, modern, and clean. However, the balconies are in terrible condition and dirty. How can the hotel afford to do this and not do anything about the balconies during a complete renovation? At the same time, the air conditioning is old, but fortunately, it was not too hot outside, so it worked. The room doors are not soundproof, and you can hear every movement in the hallway and childer screaming in the morning. The room has a smart TV, but you cannot use Netflix or YouTube, which you will learn from the information sheet given to you at the reception. Why? Why not invest a little so that guests can watch what they want? Especially when the TV only has a few Japanese channels and no international ones. The pools and beach are very nice, but they lack a slightly better touch for guests. For example, there is practically no staff at the pools, no one serves you drinks. The pool bar was absolutely ridiculous, the food (burgers) completely tasteless and ordinary, like from a fast food restaurant. The breakfast, on the other hand, was excellent, truly 5-star, everything fresh, a rich selection including sparkling wine and fresh smoothies. I also appreciate the free afternoon and evening bar with alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Overall, this is a hotel I do not need to return to. It is certainly not bad, our stay was okay, but the hotel is definitely not worth the price. It is not a 5-star hotel as advertised, and it shows signs of neglect. Accor should check the hotel and help it out.
