Our family spent 2 nights at Grand Mercure and had a really wonderful experience. The pools and water slides were really fun and kids loved them so much. High quality buffet breakfast with variety of foods. Definitely we will come back again!

the buffet is really good. recommended the all inclusive package the wi-fi is terrible though, could not connect on either of our phones.

No member exclusive counter

This is second Mercure Resort I stayed which after rebrand since April 1 2024. Because the day I arrived was a weekend, a lot people were waiting to check in, but there were not any Member Exclusive Counter. After asked the duty staff, he only can said “please wait a moment”. Obviously, the language of serious of the rebrand Mercure Resort still is an issue, the staff only can speak poor English to foreign tourists. When they realized you are not Japanese, they only pass a simple paper of introduction of the resort in English and skip to said anything with you until the next Japanese client. Lounge in lobby can be used by any residences also included the client who came to use the swimming facilities. Breakfast need to wait approximately 30 minutes when you arrived the restaurant at 07:00…. A/C in the room only the level of fans can be adjusted, unable to control the temperature…I have to said, that is really not a comfortable temperature when you stay in this room. The humidity is alway about 65~75%, too high. I will continue to try other Mercure Resort in other places of Japan, but I think I won’t suggest this one. By the way, the status points are also calculated wrong number and I have to claim again.

First of all, this is a renovated hotel but some of the points are very important for you to take note. First, very bad air conditioning as we cannot adjust the temperature at all, it seems we all sweating including our babies when sleeping. Second, there is no wardrobe in such a big room so we find nowhere to put our stuff in. Third, it’s a new hotel with many guests living in, often to have long queue for the breakfast time such as 40mins.. and also waiting for the lift to go down/go up… The pool is great but many guests to stay in during summer holidays, we found it is super crowd and not comfy to stay for our holidays, also it’s not worth we pay for such high amount of budget for your hotel with no good services… we do find better one with a lower cost for another night which make us feel more comfortable and happier. But one good thing to note is we can enjoy the water sports such as aqua bike and kayak for free which make us feel better.
