Room was lovely but there has to be a little more flexibility on check in times. I had been travelling for 18 hours and I understand that my arrival at 11.30 am was before your normal check in time but there was no attempt to help me. Simply come back at 3.00pm. The hotel was not full not even close, some customer care would have been appreciated.

This is an excellent hotel to come and relax with your partner or family. The rooms are spacious and clean and the beds nice and comfortable. Drinks and snacks are also inclusive during your stay which is one thing i appreciate about grand Mercure in Japan. We really enjoyed using the swimming pool where the main ones were heated. We also tried the free activities at the nearby beach which has amazing clear water but only open for swimming during the peak season. Where this hotel could improve is to have faster internet speeds as you can definitely purely tell when everyone is at home streaming videos and makes the connection to each room very slow. Also for a hotel that is large and nearby a sports centre this attracting sports teams it should have a fitness centre which I think will be appreciated by these guests as well as myself. Location is pretty good as long as you have a car. It will be difficult and expensive to get to places if you can’t drive yourself. There are many restaurants around but most are small so you will be best to make reservations at the smaller ones

The buffet was well-stocked with delicious food and drinks, but it was very crowded and hard to maneuver through.
