My friends and I stayed in Nara Novotel, it's located in a good location. Staff are helpful and can speak English well. As a platinum member, room got upgraded. We visited executive lounge, it has different kind of finger food and drink during evening. We had both dinner and breakfast at the hotel, food are delicious with variety of choices. Will stay again if I'm in town.

One of the best Novotels I’ve stayed in. New and nicely finished with generous rooms and great wellness area including a gym and bath. Only negatives would be the chaos at the executive lounge and breakfast at the man restaurant. Executive lounge has a deli ticket style queuing system which the staff clearly had no idea to operate as I waited in queue whilst empty tables went unused. I gave up and left the hotel and came back a couple of hours later and I was still in the same position in the queue. If you have breakfast here make sure to arrive early straight after they open as the queue at the main buffet could get to 20+ person long. Probably could be improved by splitting the buffet areas so you don’t have to line up every time to get something from the main buffet. Location wise it is one station from the main Kintetsu Nara station, but of a walk (20min) but easy walk and a quick cab ride as well. I’d recommend as a base for visiting Nara. I would stay again and hope staff training would improve the experience further.

Best Novotel I have stayed at ever and overall best Accor accommodation and service experience I have had. The executive rooms were outstanding. The service from all the staff across the hotel was excellent. The assistance I received for luggage forwarding was really appreciated. It was a wonderful stay and I would visit Nara again just to stay at the hotel.
