I went around in Japan for 14 days, I spent 1 night at Novotel Nara, yet it was my most delightful stay in Japan. Friendly staffs all around. Swift check-in as well. One thing to note is that I could have been told about the shuttle from the station to the hotel by email. They have a lot of facilities including a public bath. During my check out, I met an Indonesian who worked at the reception who recommended me some stuffs to do in Nara. He was very informative and friendly.

I had no stress during my stay. The hotel staff was helpful and friendly. The room I stayed in was very clean. The complimentary decaf coffee was a nice touch. Although I prefer a firmer pillow, the bed and pillows were comfortable enough that I fell asleep quickly.

Shuttle bus provided from both JR and Kintesu lines. Walkable from Shin Omiya Kintesu line and there is a blue bus that cost 100yen directly to Nara Park. Staffs are very welcoming and its a very modern hotel.
