Good hotel, comfortable stay. Location not central/ideal but good reason to walk every day. Breakfast offerings were impressive - many things available on order - but could use more cut fruit. Lounge access available to all (not a Platinum perk) which is fine but snacks rather limited and no wine available during evening session.

As this is my first time in Sapporo, I made a good choice staying at the Grand Mercure Sapporo Odori Park. It's centrally located, just a few minutes' walk from main attractions like Odori Park, Sapporo TV Tower, Susukino Street, and Nijo Market. The rooms are well-appointed and tastefully updated, giving a fresh feel to the old hotel shell. The lounge is a fantastic addition, offering snacks and drinks every afternoon and night, which greatly enhanced my stay.
