This time was my second year stay at your hotel. During my stay, the last night my girl friend feel like hypoglycemia after few minutes evening lounge time, I was asking for candy or coke to let her feel better, but the staff told us the lounge was closed then we have no choice just sit in the lobby for minutes. I understand the operation time but how difficult to get just some candy which just served during lounge time? Services need more humanization.

I was disappointed with my recent stay. First, the late-night lounge was closed without any prior notice, which was very inconvenient. Second, despite the hotel being unusually quiet with very few guests, I did not receive any room upgrade, as platinum member. Overall, the lack of communication and missed opportunity to enhance the guest experience left me underwhelmed.

I had a very comfortable stay at Grand Mercure Sapporo Odori Park.. so comfortable that I did consider extending my holiday in Sapporo. From the friendly and professional staff, to riding the elevators with external view, to the large relaxing winter city view from my room, it was a welcoming retreat each time I returned. In the current "environmental friendly" (= no longer so service orientated mode for travellers) drive in hotels around, I really value the daily thorough and neat room cleaning service. The hotel provided a very subtle, non-intrusive hospitality which I truly appreciated. Location wise, it's less than 5 mins walk to subway station, making it very accessible. This is my first time staying at the hotel but definitely won't be my last.
