We had a pleasant stay at Mercure Nagano. The breakfast buffet was impressive, offering an extensive selection of Western and Asian cuisine. I appreciated the complimentary shuttle service from Nagano station to the hotel and back, given its location approximately 15-20 minutes away. The room was spacious, as was the bathroom, which had good water pressure. However, we were disappointed to find that the room had a strong smell of cigarette smoke, despite our request for a non-smoking room. We were informed that it was a non-smoking room, but the odor was quite potent. Nevertheless, we had a good stay.

hotel is big but old, a lot of tourists groups makes it crowded in public bath and dining room. but i like that it's family friendly hotel with small play station, books for children and baby utensils in dining room
