Enjoyed the hotel, found it a little bare, like it was open without the decor and other facilities being completed. There was a lot of empty space, which is unusual. The rooms were clean and the onsen we well maintained. The only flaw was at check in, I had opted for advanced payment and did not expect to have to pay anything at the hotel. Perhaps due to the staff's poorer grasp of the English language, they did not inform me upfront that the hotel had not taken payment, and instead just deducted the amount from my credit card. It took me some time and query before I understood that it was because the systems were not set up to take prepayment. This is something that should have been alerted at the very beginning, instead of just charging the credit card and assuming I knew what was going on.

Very big room in Japan

Room was very big that can open all baggage to organize at once. Breakfast was good and varieties. Onsen was wonderful, have both indoor and outdoor even in summer still good. One big problem is pillow else is acceptable like too far in rural area, but that makes good view and good for star hunting in night. Room gave an old atmosphere but considering price and size of the room it's worth stayed.
