Worst hotel I ever stayed in

extremely dated room, staff is lacking but polite, breakfast is manageable. Located very far from Fukuoka city proper.

For my Classic Comfort Room with 2 single beds and 1 sofa bed, there were stains on the carpet and sofa, and a spider was found on the bed. I suggest improving the cleanliness of the room. We also asked about the availability and booking of the strawberry-picking activity recommended on the hotel’s website. We were told it was open, and a staff member even offered us a discount coupon during checkout. However, when we arrived, the strawberry farm was already closed because the season had ended.

The hotel is not the easiest to reach by public transportation. The rooms are fairly spacious, but the hotel is in need of renovation. The staff are friendly. The breakfast selection is extensive, and so is the breakfast dining area. During peak season, the hotel can get really crowded. The onsen, including its outdoor bath, is excellent. The ALL Accor welcome drink was somewhat disappointing. In practice, it was just orange juice taken from the refrigerator in the lobby souvenir shop.

The staff in the hotel is very friendly and welcoming. The food selection is standard Mercure selection in Japan. Nothing to brag about but totally worth the money. The rooms are quite big and have all needed necessities. But sadly they need an overhaul. I think the floor in the room was a bit newer. The couch had seen better days and there was a smell of eighties in the air.
