Overall Mercure Urabandai Resort & Spa is a nice and comfy property in this area. Very modern with nice services to provide welcome drinks in the evening. I just missed coffee arrangements in the guest room. There were tea packs but nothing else. If they can provide coffee or English tea in the lounge during morning hours, that would be great for guests staying there without breakfast arrangements.

As an "all-inclusive' resort, this hotel has done well to make sure none of it feels cheap. From a nice welcome lounge with beer and wine, to buffet breakfasts and dinners with a large variety of choices - our family was quite happy. Of course, the best part was the outside baths. It was snowing and the outside bath has a large garden area that allows you to enjoy the view of the snow while in the hot bath.

Love the onsen and free flow section. For breakfast, suggest can have more choices or maybe different for some days. As im staying 6 days, and everyday having same breakfast.
