Probably the only hotel in Japan that won’t ship your luggage on check-out. You need to go to Shopping Plaza for that - but only open in the evenings. Ended up taking a taxi to Yamato transport office. Room, Japanese style, nice enough, although in need of new furniture. Good evening Night Cap club. Hot spring bath excellent. Local people very friendly.

Lovely & fast check in service. Lounge for guests with free flow drinks was a great initiative. The buffet dinner was delicious. And services during dinner to replenish the dishes were excellent. Same for breakfast The spread for both buffets was exceptional. I was there on a japan public holiday weekend. So it was more crowded than usual I presume. But service was still good. Onsen was packed but everyone was able to do what they set out to do. What was remarkable.
