The toilet wasn't as comfortable as the one from Ibis in China. The staff is not well informed about what fellow heartist can get, I got mixed answers, so I decided I rather not use my all Accor. The Room was lovely, it needs another furniture to put our stuff, just my opinion.

It was a good stay as the location is very convenient. However, I think the hospitality of staff can be improved. Also, as I am a gold member, I am able to enjoy the benefit of room upgrade subject to room availability. However, when I asked about it during check in, the staff told me that the benefit has been applied. But when I went in to my room, it looked and felt like the room type that I have reserved originally and no upgrade was applied. However, as I was only staying for 1 night and had some appointments later on, I did not go to the Front Desk again to check with them. However, it did not feel nice if the benefit was not applied but I got told it was applied.

Mercure Kyoto was greatly located near the Kyoto station. Walking distance to a lot of facilities and even Temples. Amazing friendly staff and good food 😊 Overall, great family holiday.
