Had a very nice stay in the hotel, the room was great, with tea ... perhaps you should add cookies ... and water (no need to have the "member" thing) ...

The hotel and the room were both very nice and modern. We came to Kyoto for 5 days and we were happy to go back to the hotel everyday to relax. The afternoon snack tickets are also great, even though we only managed to use it on the last day. The staff was attentive and responsive when we asked any questions. The only negative part was that the pillows were really not comfortable which meant we didn’t have a good sleep throughout the stay. We asked for another pillow but we were given a small pillow with beads inside which didn’t help. Overall, I would definitely consider coming back again given that it is a great value for money proposition. Thank you Mercure Kyoto team!

The hotel is still brand new. A lounge in the basement level was beautifully decorated. A pity that guests cannot gather yet but it will become a great attraction when the pandemic is over. A breakfast buffet was wonderful. They even offer some Kyoto delicacies like warabi-mochi! Staff was kind and polite. I appreciate their swift reaction and follow-up on my personal belonging that was missing in a room by mistake. A bit of walk from the Kyoto Station but doable. I used a daily bus pass which made my trip much easier with 3, 4 bus stops around. With the promotional rate this was an unbeatable offer, and this is the very time to stay in Mercure Kyoto Station.

Beautiful hotel and nice staff. However check in was a bit long and the air conditioner was set on 27 which made the room too hot for me. I moved it down to 23 because it was too hot. The AC kept going back to 27 which made the room really hot for me which affected my sleep. Because I had to get up at least 3 times to re adjust.

After investigation, it turned out that eco mode was on and temperature goes back to 27 degree automatically after a couple of hours. Loved the hotel overall appeal.It blended Kyoto so well into the interior designing details.The hotel settings were really eye catching.The staff was good as expected.The breakfast was fine, a good selection of quality food and well presented. The Italian platter was choicely done. Room was very well made, more spacious than expected and had good quality of linen and bath accessories similar to more high end hotels of Accor.

The atmosphere and the staff were great. The room was ok except there was dust on the cabinets and around the pot, glass, and cup. We took out lunch from the diner on first floor and we had to go back to our room until it's ready and go downstairs to get them. If they could deliver it to our room, would be great.

Conveniently located within walking distance to JR Kyoto Station and centrally positioned in the City. Extremely clean and quiet at night. I didn’t have a view from my window but sleep was my main purpose. The bed was very comfortable! The amenities were high quality but I wish they could provide a small complimentary bottle of water. Still, I’ll probably stay here again on my next visit.

Room's interior was nice and double bed was comfortable. Staff's response was also kind. however, when i requested a writing desk, it took a long time to arrive. and hot shower was weak.
