Upon our arrival, the room wasn’t ready. Lots of suitcases in the reception, breakfast has very limited options, every day the same. Location is ok but there are better locations. we asked the reception if they could help out to book a restaurant, we were told we can find restaurants on google and reserve ourselves. Most restaurants don’t speak English and we wanted that specific area. There is no laundry pick up available but we were told we can use the coin machines somewhere in town. The restaurant at the hotel closes early (9.45pm). The room was quite modern and clean , we liked it but it was really a 6 out of 10 for the value for money.

The hotel is located within 10-15 min walk from the Kyoto Central Station, but still hidden away from the city buzz. Clean and comfortable room and bed, with very good WiFi and helpful staff.

Cheery Families - Confirmed reviews ALL

I’m a silver member and believe that you have service pledge that I can always get the best price booking directly with Accor. However with this hotel actually Agoda is giving a better price, so I have booked with Agoda. When I checked in I shared this with the staff and requested them to look into it, but they ignore us and this issue was not escalated to management. Another weird thing - no lotion provided even when requested.

The hotel lobby and rooms had an interesting decor. The staff was agreeable, if not overly friendly. The location is good from a transportation standpoint. The rooms are a bit small. The breakfast buffet was just weird random stuff and the line for coffee was frustratingly long. In addition the hotel has no extra amenities for Platinum and Diamond members.
