Good location but disappointed in frosted glass. We had no view from 6 th floor.

The check-in was overly complicated, with details that could have been pre-printed having to be manually filled in. While I am sure the hotel interiors were meticulously designed and planned, I was often left wondering if function had been considered at all in the hotel room. The lighting was like a night club, overall the room was very dark. It was difficult to get dressed or do anything that required good lighting. The TV had a Netflix button and the ability to mirror screens but the functions were disabled. The bedside table had been designed like an open drawer, it was difficult to use the power outlet and USB and there were no other outlets nearby. It was also difficult to use the top to place water as the headboard designed like a babies cot obscured the reach. The shower and bathroom were also poorly lit. The sink was wallpapered rather than tiled - again, I was worried I would damage the wallpaper. Strange choice of furnishing. Lastly the shower was over complicated and unnecessary and the pressure poor. The huge window was frosted, with no view. Breakfast was ok, there was no wholemeal bread for toast. Coffee was good. The dining room was cold.

You don’t deliver what you sell… You ignore complains and don’t care about your customers… The whole system doesn’t work & is out of control… For an example prepaid amount & refund… Still waiting for the statement and offer how to fix the problems by the GM… Room not as requested… Requests ignored… Dirty room & cold F&B & drinks not delicious… Service must improve a lot… Simple water not for free…seriously? Never had this problem at any other Hyatt & Marriott & Hilton and even Accor Properties… Not willing and able to deliver outstanding hospitality… Not flexible… Promises are just marketing…don’t trust and count on them… No one cares about health standards…

Nicely appointed room, ours with a view of Kyoto Tower. Easy walk to the train station and several bus stops. Breakfast was a nice way to start the day. Tasty evening menu options, but menu is a bit sparse. Would definitely stay again.

it was privilege room but still small. no table and uncomfortable pillows but comfortable bed. good restaurants around and kuroneko yamato nearby. too bad restaurant only offers italian food and no takeout.

This property is one of the best cost effective selection around Kyoto station. Room is a bit smaller than standard but very cozy , comfortable and clean. The breakfast selection is great, which includes Kyoto local vegetable and sweets.

Good location, nice and cosy. Good food at restaurant right next to the Front Desk. Not a WOW service experience by people, yet decent price and worth to stay! Will come back here again soon rather than later!

Room was super clean and nice. Stuff very friendly and polite. Location was pretty good as it was only 6mins walk from Kyoto station which allows for easy commute to the airport and all the parts of Kyoto! ;)

My hospitality experience is mixed... On one hand the breakfast was delicious... On the other hand the status recognition is not as good as other Accor properties... Especially the flexibility is missing... Disturbing that the results of requests can be totally different based on who you talk too... Several decisions to complicated and not efficient in my opinion... The breakfast can have more variations... It's been a long time since I met the GM because he is a cluster manager... Sometimes able and willing to go the extra mile to satisfy the guest...sad that it's the exception instead of the standard compared with other properties...

Initially confused with the entrance facing the back alley, but once inside, everything was really nice. The COVID restrictions on the restaurants were a bit of a problem, we had to rush to get in by 20:00 last order, but the restaurant staff were very accomodating. Highly appreciated.

Stayed here for 4 days for work. Really appreciated that there was table provided and a separate toilet and shower area. Breakfast was great too! But it can be repetitive for 4 days.
