I am very pleased with the Kyoto tower view ( Rm 614) for my first stay, as other Hotels tend to assign least desirable room to new guest which is a poor strategy to win back rebooking. So, thank you for being kind to me. I appreciate also the followings: 1. Great Service, the manners is courteous and authentic, ( reception & house keeping etc …) 2. Guess centric care and Sophistication that deliver Japanese spirit better than some 5 star hotels. 3. Aesthetics and Interior design, great ambiences ( in all dimensions both of room, and public area.)

The staff were welcoming and the check-in and out processes were faultless. The room was spotlessly clean, the bed was very comfortable which made it hard to get out of to start our day. The location is very central but if you have heavy luggage, it can seem a bit fair from the Kyoto station. The room is smaller than I had expected for a Mercure (comparing with the one in Hokkaido for example) but this wasn’t a problem since we were barely in the room during the day. Breakfast was always well presented.
