I recently stayed at Fairmont Tokyo and had a very pleasant experience overall. One of the most important factors for me when choosing a hotel is cleanliness — especially having no carpet in the rooms — and this hotel fully delivered. The space felt exceptionally clean, fresh, and modern, which made the stay very comfortable. We stayed in a suite with a superior room located right next to each other, which worked perfectly for our family traveling with children. Both rooms were very spacious and thoughtfully laid out, making it easy to relax and move around comfortably.t! The location is not the most convenient from a sightseeing perspective. Since the hotel is situated in a commercial area, several taxi drivers initially had difficulty finding it. However, this was only a minor inconvenience and did not affect my overall experience. There is a train station right next to the building though. kids loved the transportation experience lol Lounge access was a highlight of the stay. The offerings were excellent, with a great breakfast selection as well as a lovely afternoon tea service. The lounge atmosphere felt relaxed yet refined, adding significant value to the experience. Overall, Fairmont Tokyo is a clean, modern, and comfortable hotel with excellent lounge benefits. Honestly, I found myself wanting to return to Tokyo just to stay at Fairmont Tokyo again LOL — and that’s pretty much what we ended up doing most of the time while the kids were out exploring the city.

Hi, I wanted to share a detailed feedback regarding an experience we had during our stay at Fairmont Tokyo. On our second day, we were exploring the hotel and the building. We visited a floor where there is a bar, and asked one of the staff there about the 42nd floor. We were told that it was for hotel guests, which led us to believe it was accessible as part of the hotel facilities. When we returned to the hotel reception on the 35th floor and tried to access the 42nd floor, our key card did not work. At that point, a hotel staff member in the elevator kindly assisted us by tapping their card and bringing us up to the 42nd floor. Upon arrival at the Fairmont Gold Lounge, there was no one at the reception desk. We were then greeted by a staff member, seated, and presented with menus. At this stage, there was no verification of our room or eligibility, so we naturally assumed we were in the correct place. However, a few minutes later, another staff member approached us directly and asked for our room number and key card. After checking, we were informed that the lounge is exclusively for Fairmont Gold guests. While we fully understand and respect this policy, the manner in which this was communicated felt quite abrupt and made us feel as though we had intentionally accessed a restricted area, which was not the case. From our perspective, this situation seemed to result from a combination of unclear information, access control, and internal communication. As guests, we followed the guidance we were given at each step. I wanted to share this feedback because the experience felt uncomfortable, and I believe a more consistent process (both in access management and communication) would help avoid similar situations for future guests. Overall, we are enjoying our stay, and we appreciate your attention to this feedback.

Rooms, staff, view, gold lounge were all amazing. I have stayed at a number of Fairmonts in Canada and this one is by far the best. I loved everything about it. The only thing that was that it wasn’t it a great area to walk to many things and although we were almost on the top floor we could hear the many trains that passed through the night. This was our last couple nights of our trip and we’re there to enjoy the hotel and the amenities more than traveling around Tokyo because we had already been there for 4 days at beginning of trip so the location didn’t bother me and if you were taking the trains the station was very close. The views from every restaurant and lounge were different and breathtaking. The spa was top notch. Great stay
