Our kids were thrilled with the large indoor play area and go kart track. It was very impressive! The Onsen was also very good. The buffet breakfast had many options and nice food. We made the mistake of eating at the dinner buffet without checking the price first and were shocked when we got the bill. Our dinner cost more than a night in the two rooms we booked and that was with our accor dining discount! Left a bitter taste, I understand a high adult rate for a buffet but 7500 yen for a 7 year old hardly who ate anything was far too much. We stayed in a renovated room on the 5th floor, it was really nice. The bathroom was small but good with a deep bath. The beds were very firm and the duvets were hot. I couldn’t get the air con to cool any lower than 20degrees, we tried sleeping with windows open but even then we were too hot. It is change of season so hopefully the hotel will put lighter weight duvets on the beds soon. The staff were very friendly and helpful, my daughter lost her necklace in the sauna and two staff members went above and beyond to retrieve it for her. Very grateful, thank you. Overall a great stay, would come back again and would recommend this hotel to others. Thanks

Very partially renovated, this should be laid emphasis on the website, definitely not the standards of a Mercure hotel, not even mentioning about the "Grand", it would be more accurate to say "Petit" or "Budget" Mercure. If you start doing some renovations in front of guest rooms, let also them know about the inconvenience early on.
