The property is dated from when it’s originally built. Images shown online are some of the renovated rooms. Pool is now a fountain.

Never stayed in a Japan Grand Mercure resort but was very impressed. Onsen was great, also very nice to see that elderly personnel are employed at the onsen. Hotel staffs was great and breakfast selection fantastic. The shuttle service is great. Slight negative was that a corner of the room has cobwebs, but the part with the beds are clean. Overall very interesting and memorable stay

We booked through the Accor App and I was a gold member. There was no room upgrade on the first night as the hotel was at full capacity but we got an upgrade for the second night. What made this a very pleasant experience was the professionalism and pleasant attitude from the front desk staff. We were mostly handled by a South Indian Gentleman (apologies that I can't remember his name off hand) who checked in on us and ensure our stay experience was well taken care of. However, the old rooms are really old and really needs a refurbishment ASAP which is the reason why the overall experience is an 8 instead of 9.

However, we are delighted that you were able to enjoy the upgrade on the second day. We also appreciate your kind words about our front desk staff. We will continue to make efforts to ensure that our guests have an even more comfortable experience. Dirty windows plus covered with cobwebs and dead inscts! Lack of information on the hotel, amenites, operation of tv channels and services contacts in English on the tv screen. The front desk staff a little lack of knowledge.

We are sorry to hear about the cleanliness issues with your windows and the presence of cobwebs and dead insects. Please rest assured that we take cleanliness very seriously, and we will address this with our housekeeping team to ensure that such oversights do not happen in the future. Regarding the lack of information about hotel amenities and services, we appreciate your feedback. We are currently working on improving our communication and signage, including providing clearer information in English for our international guests. We also regret the confusion you experienced with the complimentary drink vouchers. It is unacceptable that you were given conflicting information, and we will reinforce training with our front desk staff to ensure they provide accurate guidance to our guests.
