I visited this hotel with my parents expecting a great stay because of the ocean view and good food. The hotel services were nice, but the shuttle bus driver ruined our trip. He was nice to locals but very rude and dismissive to foreigners. I complained to him, but his attitude did not change. Because of this driver, our first and last memories of the hotel were terrible. I will never visit this hotel again.

Comfortable stay. Especially love the restaurant view of the sea, with large glass panels. Staff were polite and welcoming. Pleasant stay. Highly recommended.

Located slightly North of Beppu, this resort hotel has everything you need- including parking, a great view of the bay, and an onsen. It also has a crowd tracker of the lounge and the onsen, which proved extremely helpful. The staff went above and beyond for my first stay here, with an upgrade to an ocean view- I wholeheartedly recommend staying here even if you're just transiting Beppu.

Comfortable room of decent size.Our stay was brief so use of hotel features was limited. The lounge area opposite check in for all guests is unique.

I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding my recent stay. As an Accor Platinum member, I expected to receive priority benefits, including a room upgrade and a higher standard of service. However, my experience was disappointing and did not meet even basic expectations. In fact, I encountered multiple issues during my stay: 1. **Unpleasant moldy smell in the bathroom** The bathroom was filled with a strong smell of mold and mildew. Since I was already exhausted and it was very late (around after midnight) when I took a shower, I could clearly smell the unpleasant odor while bathing. 2. **Condition of the room not consistent with Platinum status** It is unfair that, as a Platinum member, I was placed in a room that is clearly outdated and poorly maintained. The room feels old and not properly renovated, and even the **USB charging is missing**, which suggests the room is not up to modern standards. In addition, the wall beside the left bedside is damaged and badly worn. I do not understand why my Platinum membership did not come with the “privileged” experience that should accompany it.

Regarding the room type, you had originally reserved a Japanese-style room; however, due to our operational circumstances, we upgraded your accommodation to a room on the top floor. Unfortunately, we failed to properly inform you of this change, which resulted in confusion and a mismatch with your expectations. Please accept our sincere apologies for this lack of communication. We will ensure clearer explanations moving forward. Furthermore, we sincerely regret that the condition and facilities of the room did not meet your expectations. We take your comments regarding the room condition and equipment very seriously, and we are committed to making the necessary improvements and upgrades in due course.
