I think the rooms are not good. Unfortunately they have a horrible smell, most likely due to humidity. Some makes the stay quite unpleasant while the rest of the facilities are pretty much ok. Rooms need better cleaning as they don’t feel clean. Also walking into a room which is already tiny and seeing a dehumidifier is alarming, it occupies both space and indicates that sth is totally wrong with this room.

This is our families second stay at the Ibis Styles Tokyo Ginza. This time around, I felt the staff were less friendly, less informative and there seemed to always be a queue at reception when I needed them including checking in. Poor start as I booked two rooms both with two Single Beds, ended up being only one room with two single beds and one with a double bed. I NEVER book this option, never. Single bed room not available, then an extra $300 AUD for the last 4 nights! I have never had this issue with accor or any booking site. The staff didn't seem to bother to remember us during our stay, so we had to show our Accor membership to get the cups nearly every time. Rained most of our trip and pm two occasions, there were no umbrellas to borrow which was very disappointing and got us rather wet. I would stay at the Ibis Styles Tokyo Ginza EAST next time, worth the extra few dollars. And location is better for food, and overall in my opinion. A bit high end shops and food here. Rather disappointing compared to last time

I was very pleased at how quiet the hotel was, especially for central Toky!. My room, a single, was tiny, but adequate. Hotels are very expensive in Tokyo, so I went for a budget option. The hotel is called Ibis Styles, but it’s not up to the standards of the other Styles hotels I’ve stayed at. The breakfast at the adjacent hotel restaurant is very basic and expensive, so I recommend simply going across the street to the Family Mart convenience store, where there are a number of options at a fraction of the price! The hotel provides free coffee 24/7. I highly recommend this hotel!

An excellent stay at a hotel that gets the important things right: a superb location, genuinely welcoming staff, outstanding cleanliness, a quiet room and very good value for money. It is a comfortable and convenient base for Tokyo, with thoughtful details that make settling in easy. The location is one of its greatest strengths. Staying in Ginza puts shopping, restaurants, cafés and interesting streets within easy reach, making it a lovely area to explore on foot. Kabukiza Theatre is within walking distance, and both Ginza and Shimbashi stations are a short walk away, providing convenient connections for exploring the rest of Tokyo. It works equally well for sightseeing, shopping or a business visit. The staff deserve particular praise. They were welcoming, courteous and professional, with a friendly approach that made the hotel feel inviting. Good hospitality makes a real difference, and the team contributed a great deal to the positive impression of the stay. The cleanliness was excellent. The room and bathroom were spotless, the bed linen was fresh and neatly presented, and the towels and amenities were carefully arranged. The bright entrance and tidy communal areas created the same reassuring impression. There was a clear sense of care in how everything had been prepared. The room was cosy, comfortable and thoughtfully laid out. The warm wood finishes, neutral colours and pleasant lighting created a restful atmosphere. The bed was very comfortable, and the quiet surroundings made it easy to relax and enjoy a good night’s sleep. Having somewhere peaceful to return to after a busy day was especially appreciated. The furnishings were practical as well as attractive. A proper desk and chair, a mirror, conveniently positioned power sockets, a large wall-mounted television and an additional armchair made the room useful for more than simply sleeping. The kettle, cups, glasses and tea supplies were welcome additions, while the air purifier was another thoughtful feature. The space was used intelligently, with the everyday essentials close at hand. The bathroom was equally well considered. Alongside the neatly presented towels and hairdryer, there was a useful selection of toiletries, including shampoo, conditioner, body wash and face-and-hand wash. The basket of individually packaged essentials, including a toothbrush, razor and comb, was particularly convenient. The nightwear, slippers, clothes brush and shoehorn added further comfort and practicality. These small details made the room feel properly equipped rather than merely furnished. The entrance was bright and easy to recognise, and the hotel felt safe and reassuring. The umbrellas placed near the entrance were another nice detail. Wi-Fi, air conditioning, round-the-clock reception and self-service laundry facilities also add to the hotel’s practicality, particularly for travellers spending several days in the city. The value for money was excellent for my stay, especially considering the location, cleanliness, comfort and range of useful amenities. What stood out was the balance: a central setting without sacrificing a peaceful room, a practical layout without losing its cosy feel, and professional service with a genuinely welcoming attitude. A thoroughly enjoyable stay and a hotel I would happily return to. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a clean, quiet, comfortable and conveniently located base in Tokyo.

It locates so close to luxury shops at Ginza. Just few minutes walks to Ginza Six. Staff are very polite and efficient and accommodating. I explained to them that my flight will depart at midnight and they offered me late check out so that I can take enough rest before midnight flight. Bathtub is bigger than normal Japanese hotel standard. Two minor issues are no view from the room and limited number of washing machines. Great soundproof system as well.

Very average, ive used multiple accor hotels over the years staying in different star rated hotels as well and this one was disappointing. Ive had a better experience at an Ibis budget before. This room was dirty and very small i understand rooms in tokyo are small and thats fine however this room was small and non functional there had been no thought to the design or layout, even simple things like booking a room for two people but theres only enough room to hang one towel, the hotel facilities were very basic and the whole thing felt very outdated

The hotel is just a few steps from Shimbashi Station, making travel to and from the airport very convenient. The surrounding area offers plenty of department stores and a diverse range of local dining options.
