In the heart of the Old Town, the Römer (Roman) attracts all the attention. It's the city's town hall, built in the 15 th century and today a true landmark of Frankfurt. The Frankfurt Stock Exchange is one of the world's largest trading centres for security papers, home to the famous Börsensaal (pit). On the surrounding stock exchange square, see two bronze sculptures of a bear and a bull. The bull symbolises the rising stock market and the bear for the falling one.
