The air conditioning in the room is completely Insufficient. If sleeping with open window, the curtain has to be drawn to avoid daylight in early morning. I managed to sleep only because I carried a small fan with me

Receptionist ks friendly and helpful. The room is basic, good enough for an overnight stay. Get water from the hotel lobby area.

Staff is always welcoming, heart-glowing and helpful, even after check-in. Lidl grocery store right across the street for snacks or self-made Paninos for your next day's flight, from fresh breads, cold cuts, sliced cheeses, etc. Beer, wine etc. About 700 feet away is another great German grocery, "Edeka". There you can get a hot meal & +. So Ibis is well located indeed. Hotel is always impeccably clean. Airport shuttle is on always on point.

Overall, it was a good experience. I say good because I felt there was room for improvement. I was kept waiting before someone came to take my drink order, a small thing yes, but I did mention, “I’ll order a drink after I eat”. The other very small thing was my room swipe took several attempts to open the door. Otherwise, it was a good stay, thank you.
