Firstly its location is not easy to find. 2nd parking. I was told I could not park in the garage area as it was full. Well funny because I could see 4 spaces empty. I was the informed the only place to park was in the street. Wonderful! (Sarcasm). So park the car 2 streets away as it was full with workers cars and to make it even better it was raining like hell ! Oh and check in. Took so long I nearly checked out at the same time. I stay in may Ibis hotels and have a loyalist card and this one hotel has to have to the worst I’ve used.

Beware! Shuttle to the airport has limited

Small clean room. Good shower Bar open until 22:30 and served some food/snacks. Staff all pleasant Shuttle driver from airport seemed impatient and drove a bit wild We prepaid for our return shuttle Only to discover it doesn’t operate for 6 hours in midday!! This is not written anywhere on the website! Had to take a cab and partially recoup money with a couple of chocolate bars. Would have stayed elsewhere had we known

We had booked months in advance of our stay. First, they overcharged us on the room. They charged us twice the amount of money for the shuttle and they added a tax which we had already paid. Even with the booking visible to them, they insisted in a rather loud voice (supervisor on staff then) that "everyone pays the 4% tax". Finally, after my insistence, they refunded me for the shuttle cost and the tax. I use to thing that early bird gets the worm in the accommodations we receive. I was mistaken. They put us on the first floor of a five floor complex. Our room was dated and the air conditioning was not working. When I went down to complain they informed me that the AC was turned off because cooler weather. Then why did they not inform me of this when I booked the room. Clearly, the booking stated AC was included. In any event, we tried to sleep with the window wide open but traffic and people noises were heard all night. Then before 5:00 am in the morning, we could here people move their wheeled luggage to the shuttle bus location. That continued until 7:00 when we got us. To that end, I was very disappointed at the IBIS. We have booked the IBIS in the past and of late, their service has been so poor that we will likely not book with them again. Even membership does not have any privilege with room selection, air conditioning or accommodating our wishes.

We would also like to clarify that our hotel is a 100% non-smoking property. Unfortunately, there are sometimes guests who do not adhere to this policy and smoke near open windows. We do our best to enforce the rules, and we appreciate all guests respecting international hotel guidelines and standards. As for the air conditioning, it is centrally controlled and cannot be turned off individually. If you were provided with incorrect information by a staff member, we sincerely apologize for the confusion. Thank you again for your review. Picked this one as it was close to airport. Shuttle bus collected us from airport - easy. And returned 2 days later Train station is about 25 min walk. Nice enough And that's about as good as it gets. The aircondition was not working. Rooms as small. Very basic but the bed was atrocious - it was 2 bed bases turned upside down and with a very slim, I couldn't call it a mattress. The pillows were very thin. Food was ok. Service was ok
