Confused with another Mercure about 100 m away. Parking is expensive. Hotel is looking a bit tired. No kettle in rom or a available for use to make tea. I also thought breakfast was overpriced.

We recognize that the parking is an added cost and understand that the absence of a kettle in the room has impacted your satisfaction. Horrible! 1) 1 hour wait at reception to get the room key (even if check-in was done online before arrival). 2) the assigned room was not the one reserved: book a Deluxe, QUIET room, located on the upper floors! With VIP bathroom, bathrobe, mini bar, coffee/tea. Instead received a room on the first floor, facing the parking lot, with a terrible bathroom and no bathrobe, minibar or coffee/tea. 3) room door did not work. After waiting 1 hour for the key, we had to wait another 20 minutes to access the room. In the end, the door broke, it was impossible to repair and it was not possible to enter the room freely. 4) dirty room: hair on the bed and urine in the toilet! dirty bathroom, shower curtain full of old stains. 5) rest of the hotel also dirty. 6) As the room allocated was not the one reserved, the overall dirt and due to the broken room door making it impossible to enter the room we left the hotel 2 hours after our arrival. No action was made or offered and the room was not refunded! A shame!! We had planned to stay in another Mercure hotel during our trip, we immediately canceled the reservations!

I rarely leave reviews, but my experience at this hotel was so dreadful that I feel compelled to share. The room key malfunction that left over 100 of us stranded outside our rooms late at night was just the tip of the iceberg. The real issue was the hotel’s abysmal customer service and the disrespectful behavior of the front desk staff. Despite the inconvenience caused by the key cards, what was truly unacceptable was the staff’s attitude. He claimed that the key card failure was not his or the hotel’s responsibility. Instead of recognizing the urgency of the situation, the staff member accused the guest reporting the issue of being disrespectful to the hotel. Does the hotel not owe respect to the 100+ guests who were unable to rest promptly due to the failed room key cards? From start to finish, the front desk staff didn’t even ask a single question about the problems the guests were encountering, didn’t prioritize the needs of more than 100 affected guests. Instead, he chose to continuously escalate the conflict. First, there were unfounded accusations, and then he attempted to evict the guest and even threating to call the police and bar guests from entering the country. The management’s response to our complaint was lackluster and seemed to dodge the real issues. Their silence on the staff’s conduct implies that such behavior is the norm, which is shocking for a normal hospitality provider. The subpar rating on TripAdvisor is well-deserved. This hotel has a long way to go in terms of customer service and staff training. I cannot in good conscience recommend this hotel to anyone. Save yourself the hassle and choose a place that respects its guests and values their patronage.

Tried to charge me 5 euros more for the parking than the website shows. ( Charging for parking is a bit curious as across the street they charge 8 euros ) First room th AC was broken. Second room next to elevator. Third room i got was ok but no fridge in it. Not enought power outlets. And u had to ask for my complimentary drinks. It reminded me why i dont use Accor often anymore. Btw, staff was friendly.
