You need to change your breakfast menu time to time. For example: Sausages can be replaced by patty, Scrambled eggs with omlette. Also, basic amenity like tea kettle, cup & saucer should be a permanent feature in the rooms. The staff needs to be explained to move away when a guest is opening his safe.

it was my second stay at an IBIS hotel ever (usually Novotel). It was a huge improvement compared to the first stay in an IBIS. The guy on the reception been good and welcoming. The hotel itself was average and I have been in better once and worse. However, the breakfast was terrible, even n my army time the breakfast was nicer presented (and better quality). Would I stay in an IBIS again? Very unlikely

I booked a twin room and they didn't have it available i couldn't stay there with my colleague and I didn't received my money back... terrible... lost 77 euro!!! :@

I have stayed at this hotel several times over the last 8 years. This time had some weak spots: two thin towels are just not enough, especially when the shower leaks water all over the floor. I learned to take extra towels from the linen cart and make a dam to soak up the water. Also, no washcloths or bar soap. The temperature in our room was way too high (we like it cold at night for better sleeping). I turned the thermostat all the way down to 5 C, but it never cooled off. The second night I finally thought to open the window at the top. Even that wasn’t enough. The third night I swung the window completely open and finally got a decent sleep. On the other hand, the breakfast was good and the staff was generally friendly. I did come to breakfast at 10:05 one morning, thinking it went until 10:30. An employee said, under his breath - twice- “We close at 10”. By that time I already had food on my plate (and some things were already taken away), so I ate quickly and left.

Dear Kathy, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. First of all I apologize for the leaking shower, I already forwarded this to my head technician. According to the heating in he rooms, our rooms are all equipped with a two pipe system air conditioning. This means that it can either heat or cool. In winter we turn it to heating, in summer we turn it to cooling, which is the reason why turning it down to 5 degrees did not help. If it is to warm in the winter we also recommend you open the window to cool down the room. The hotel is next to a subway-station in the suburbs of Frankfurt. It is close to the trade fair of Frankfurt situated in a commercial area. The breakfast menu offers a very big choice. Our room was quiet. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Lack of service, no fresh food, no tea facilities in room lack of towels

Having stayed in this hotel many times over the past few years I can attest to the consistency of the hotel’s standards: clean, functional, efficient check in and out, friendly front office staff, well maintained rooms. However, the hotel has yet to upgrade to the image presented by newer Ibis hotels around the world, despite tv screens running in the background showing the new, more trendy image. Having stayed during the last 2 months in Ibis hotels in UK, Singapore, Thailand I can attest to the fact that there is a huge difference in product. The room decor and public areas there are bright, trendy, attractive and all rooms come with a kettle and complimentary tea and coffee, and in Asia even with mini fridges. When will Ibis hotels in Germany catch up with their international counterparts?
