Room not what I would expect for this price

I've been staying at this hotel a couple of times and so far found it okay. This time my room wasn't very nice though. Compared to the room in the 4th floor I had the week before this room in the 2nd floor only had a 2-in-one shampoo instead of separate products and body lotion. In addition the cover of the suitcase rack was broken, the shower door had water stains and nightstands seemed dusty. Would not mind in a cheap hotel, but for the prices here I don't find it acceptable.

I have been coming to Mercure Eschborn since 2010 and always experienced good service. It seemed to me, that the hotel might need some of the rooms remodelled now.

The location is a bit remote, the room was clean but used. The food was ok, nothing special. Mainly convenience food based. The staff was nice but the bartender took forever to serve me.

Not well located, average stay

Here is the list of things I really did not enjoy during my stay: - receptionist (a guy) was like a zombie, no smile, no energy - dirty bathroom, hair in the shower, stains in toilet, shower door - overally it was an average stay, not worth the money

The room was clean. Having a desk and lighting for working was satisfactory. The bar in the ground floor had a good service.
