Lights were missing in the room. Battery off in the TV remote control. Real need of refurbished.

Disappointing stay – the condition of the rooms leaves a lot to be desired

One positive aspect is the hotel's location and the comparatively affordable price for a stay, which is certainly a plus for Eschborn. Additionally, there are free parking spaces available over the weekend, which is convenient since the parking garage would otherwise cost a staggering 19 EUR per day. Another advantage is the good shopping options nearby, so you're not dependent on the hotel breakfast. Unfortunately, these positive aspects barely save the day. The rooms are in a deplorable condition—almost disgusting. It seems like they haven’t been renovated for over 10 years. Offering rooms in such a state to guests is simply unacceptable and a strong reason to avoid this hotel in the future. Sticky furniture surfaces, outdated and obsolete TV sets, chipped walls, damaged furniture, and a shower that desperately needs descaling—all of this makes you feel uncomfortable. It feels like the hotel has been abandoned, with the owners just trying to squeeze out the last bit of revenue. The air conditioning, which produced more noise than cooling, added to the negative experience. The only remedy was to open the windows, which wasn't ideal either. And this wasn't just a one-off issue: after rejecting the first room on the 3rd floor due to its condition, the replacement room on the 5th floor was no better. In the end, we left a day early because we simply didn’t feel comfortable.

I had a booking until 18h with the hotel. I realized the hotel was full and I was pretty far away thus making it difficult to be there. I called the hotel, asking if I could cancel the reservation, if I had to pay anything at all, and I would be staying in another accor hotel. They told me they were not sure if I was being charged, but that I could come and that they will have a room for me. So I drove 500kms, arrived at midnight, only to be told on the desk the hotel was full, my reservation expired and they had no room for me. I got trully mad and angry and eventually the guy got me a room on the other hotel, on the very same street. I really really hope this won’t happen again. This is unprofessional, ridiculous and idiotic. I took the time to call the hotel and they treated my like nothing. I realized I called for nothing. The only nice and professional guy was Emre. He took the time and did everything he could to help me. I hope this gets sorted and there will need to be consequences.

Well located and clean, but got wrong info about amenity from attending Receptionist during my stay

The hotel room was very clean and comfortable to sleep with. The only two issues I had were: 1.) which I only found out upon check-out - the amenities that were in the room, like free bottle of water and a small basket of snacks, I was not able to enjoy/consume them because when I asked the guy in the Reception whom I spoke to over the phone during my stay, told me I have to pay for them if I consume them, even though I told him there was no price list to be found how much each item cost - which is normal if consumables are not free. 2.) The ceiling lights in the foyer, are not working. They are located right next to the shelves and hangers where you have to place/stack or hang your clothes. I had to use my phone's lights to see things properly at night. I tried to inform Reception via hotel's telephone but I got no answer and I forget to inform them in person the following day.
