I know this hotel for a long time as business traveler as it it nearby our office. The staff is nice and friendly, the breakfast is ok and even the bar has it´s charme. Usually I would say, that a good bed and a shower - and of course a clean room should do it. But for a 4 star hotel... sorry.... The inventory is still the same 20 yrs ago. Scratchy, old, ugly. We are starting to shift customers (and partly ourself) to other hotels, even if this brings a slight inconvenience with a greater distance to the office.

Customer service was very good. Breakfast was good as well. Checkout was fast and smooth. Two points that could be improved: - The room was not entirely clean. The carpet showed some remains from the previous guest, and the door of the shower was visibly clouded by lime scale. Rest of the bathroom was clean though. - The air in the room was very, very dry, so I had to open the window to be able to sleep. My room faced the inner court and outside was very loud because of ventilation engines on the roof. It felt a little like being on the airport with a plane not too far away.

standard Mercure but a bit shabby chic...the furniture in the room is really old and quite damaged, but otherwise clean and comfortable

Lights were missing in the room. Battery off in the TV remote control. Real need of refurbished.
