Great hotel (but don't stay on weekends due to nightclub noise)

819adriant Couples - TripAdvisor review

The hotel itself was wonderful and has a quirky decor and style. The room was spacious and fitted out well. It was fun in one of the elevators that had a tv display on the ceiling that played a video that gave the impression of being under a glass roof with it raining or with aircraft or stars wars cruisers flying overhead. Much fun. Location being close to the Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof was an easy short walk. The part that wasn't fun is all the drug users on the street near the hotel either smoking dope or using crack plus the drunks and crack whores hanging around too. If Frankfurt council wants to promote tourism they really need to do something about cleaning up the area, improving the street lighting and using the police to enforce drug laws. The hotel should have security staff outside to make patrons feel safer too. The other big problem is the noise from a neighbouring night club. We stayed on a Saturday night and the music (doof, doof, doof..) shook the hotel until it stopped a bit after 7 am the next morning!!!!!!!!! The poor hotel staff got to hear all the complaints from customers. Good hotels warn people on their website before you book that the hotel is in close proximity to a night club or construction site and rooms might be noisy. This was beyond noisy, it was like actually being in the night club !!!! So although I rate the hotel highly, I warn potential customers not to stay here on weekends due to nightclub noise. It was horrendous.

Good hotel with unusual interiors. Nice rooms, clean and well maintained. Good variety of food offer at breakfast, but on some days it is not self service and it takes some time to have breakfast. Great that they still offer hand made espresso. I heard the restaurant is good too, but it was closed when I was there. WiFi is okay but could be more stable. The surrounding area is not the best walking space in Frankfurt…

2 separate one night stays - our first time at 25hr.

Our first time in a 25Hr hotel and the experience was great. We stayed 2 different nights. The Trip in Frankfurt is very close to the Frankfurt Hbf and that is why we chose it as we had to connect to plans and trains. Positives. -Staff were great and super friendly -Rooms clean and unusual in design -Quiet overnight -Good price The only negative is the area that the hotel is in. It's not great and in one direction you can easily see people on the street openly taking drugs (pipes mainly) If we were going out later at night we might stay elsewhere, but because we were are couple (and experienced travellers) we felt safe. Also, the streets you choose in and out mattered too. Nevertheless, we would stay again. We have stayed at other 25hrs since in Hamburg and Paris and they are great.

If you value sleep steer well clear

Well there are a few positives, it is near the Messe and train station, they kept my bags secure when I checked in mid morning until my room was available later and the aircon works. That's it with the positives. Check in was very slow which was surprising as it was mid morning and there was nobody else checking in. The hotel itself is supposed to be quirky but really it is just very dark and trying so hard to push a trendy narrative. The room was OK, water pressure in the shower not great but OK. Bed was comfy and some complimentary drinks which was nice. Check out is very very slow, took me about 25 minutes even though I had all but prepaid with my credit card. They said they would send on my receipt by email despite contacting them three times still no sign. Clearly communication is a problem here they had promised to book me a taxi to the airport which appears to have been booked by one lady on reception and promptly cancelled by an another lady on reception, I eventually got it over 15 minutes late. The area it is situated in is not the best with a lot of very open drug dealing / use and such like taking place within a stones throw of the hotel, walking is not really an option I think around here. The very worst thing about the hotel though is the noise at night, there is music until about 03:00 making sleep after a days work near impossible. It was really so bad not only will I never stay in this hotel again, I will never stay in a 25 Hours Hotel group hotel again.
