My stay at ibis Styles Frankfurt City was disappointing overall, and I didn’t feel it offered good value for money—especially for families. While I understand that the hotel is positioned as a budget option, there were several issues that made the experience uncomfortable. The room seemed hastily prepared; the linens were not clean, and even the bathroom amenities appeared used and not replaced. There was also a lack of proper lighting, which made the room feel dim and uninviting. The surrounding area also felt a bit unsafe or “shady.” Of course, this isn’t directly the hotel’s fault, but it’s something to be aware of when choosing the location. For a quick overnight stay just to sleep, it may suffice, but I wouldn’t recommend this property for families or for anyone looking for a comfortable and hygienic stay.

Walls and curtains extremely dirty. Hair is the shower, breakfast was half empty , tons of dirty plates on the tables. Only 1 woman was dying everything , she did her best but it is really not possible to manage everything at the same time

When I arrived around 22:30 the late evening/night receptionist was out front smoking. This will say I didn't know it was the receptionist, as this is a complete no-go for me. What makes it even worse is that when I called out at the reception, he put his head in and said "please wait a minute", which I then had to do. This was my first time ever at an Ibis Styles... Anyway, the rest of the staff was super, smiling, all service, so I'm still for an 8 out of 10.

I usually try to book with ibis when traveling as I find the quality and consistency good for the price. For this stay, however, especially since it's an ibis Styles hotel, I was disappointed. It was warm in Frankfurt, and from what I could see, there was no AC in the room, at least no controls. When I asked about it, the guy at the front desk said he was new but would send his colleague when he came at 10 PM. No one called or stopped by to help. The hotel is pretty run down compared to other ibis hotels I've been in, especially the Styles. I won't book again.

Horrible. Terrible neighborhood. Drug use in the streets. Loud music until 04:00 from the nightclub across the street. Climate control unable to cool the room below 20° C. Paper-thin towels couldn't absorb any moisture. Shower was tiny, with a leaking door, and a nozzle that sprayed water everywhere. I was charged for breakfast, even though I told the attendant that I had to leave the room at 06:00.
