Unfortunately, this is one of the worst Ibis hotels I’ve ever stayed at. The rooms are extremely small! The bathroom looks like an airplane bathroom! The bathroom window isn't fully covered, so neighbors can see in. I paid for a late checkout, yet they came to wake me up and clean the room by opening the door without knocking. That’s disrespectful. Unfortunately, this Ibis is nowhere close to being a 3.5-star hotel as they claim. If you compare it to the Ibis in Tallinn, for example, the Ibis Frankfurt is a two-star hotel.

1. The bathroom was dirty! Someone had pissed on the toilet seat and left it to dry. I have take fotos of it. There was mold (schimmel) in the grouts in the shower area. On the day that I checked...I saw this and wanted to complain but there were no hotel staffs to be seen...except for 1 guy at the reception working to check in 20 plus guests. He was overwhelmed and I could talk to him only at 2100...by that time, I had to clean the toilet seat myself as I had to use it. The sheets didnt look clean either...I complained and they cleaned the room the next day. But I had already spent 1 night and this should have been done before I checked in. 2.The room that I was given was meant for elderly, physically challenged people. I dont have a problem with it but I should have been asked while checking in.....as there were no cupboards, no water heater.....even the AC didnt function properly. I am very disappointed with the room and the service at the hotel! 3. I had to scan a QR code for the internet...but then it asked to register, download an app....blah blah...and in the end...didnt work. All we need is easy WiFi connection when we check in to a hotel after a long trip...please make the process simpler.
