Perfect stay, beautiful room, great breakfast, however the second time in a row very bad experience with the reception staff where they didnt know that room was paid, had to spend extra half an hour mixed with confusion. Very disappointed

Room temperature was not adjustable. Found this out at 1:30am. TV was not properly working Room was super loud when window was opened at night (due to overheated room)

The permanent ventilation is MUCH too loud. Every time the minibar is locked and I have to call the reception. The staff at the reception changes too often and is sometimes poorly qualified.

Hotel itself is great and the facilities are in excellent shape (shame the bar is closed, but that is covid and nothing anybody can do about it). I did, however, have one business reservation and arrived a night earlier to stay for personal reasons. I did mention to reception that they shoudl please not kick me out of my room in the morning as I have another reservation for the following day in the same room, hence I would remain anyway. That didnt work and I was repeatedly interrupted during the mornign when I was on important calls. This is the second time this has happened to me at the hotel in a month.

My wife and I have been many times at Sofitel Frankfurt and we have always been extremely happy with our stay every time we've been there. Hotel is in excellent condition, room is very large with a nice view to the park across, bed is amazing and the shower to die for. Breakfast has everything, even more than you would wish for in the morning. Tables are well distanced because of covid 19, cleanliness is their top priority and staff very polite and ready to help.

Dear all , the interior of the hotel is very nice. The staff at FO is very helpful and the Lady on the Bar entrance on 11.09.2020 was very professional. The breakfast is way overpriced with 37,- Euro and quality of the Food is this not worth . For example, Birchermüsli was dry and must be prepared already days before and the waffles were not fresh, egger frozen.

Most devastating stay I ever had in a five star hotel..

I can just warn anyone: Don’t book yourself in this narcissistic environment.. Accor group is well known for its narcissistic, french attitude.They let it out on their own guests! I checked in as a single, female guest. The perfect victim to play me and they did, in all kind of ways. The entire stay, they tried to drive me nuts, tried to give me a hard time.They made me wait for everything. I had to wait an whole hour to get a ridiculous bottle of water to my room after I already had an intense work out at the gym and while the room temp was 35 degrees inside! No AC! I barely couldn’t breathe.. I was totally dehydrated but they really didn’t care..Instead they made everything even more worse.. It started with the super old hairdryer. It didn’t even include a cooling mode to dry my bleached hair. The temp was so hot, it even broke some of my my hair! I was shocked. I called the front desk and complained about it. The whole drama began.They didn’t show any empathy and just put me on a never ending stand by mode just for having a normal working hair dryer. After three hours, they told me someone is on the way to a drugstore to buy a new one after I sarcastically told them it’s possible to buy modern hairdryers with cool modes for only 9.99 €.. You can’t imagine what happened after those 20 min. The GM called me and told me that he’s actually not planning to get any new hairdryer. Excuse me.?..Instead he will ask a hairsalon near by to borrow one.. (!) and in an even blaming tone he told me, normally, if a guest has those kind of special requests they are happy to provide it but of course will charge for it..! Wait a mom.. So, I got told that someone is already organizing another hairdryer. After 20 mins it turned out that they actually lied to me, and even if my hair got damaged from their own middle aged hairdryer, Im now the one who gets blamed?? But sure, why apologizing, right? Play it as Trump and instead make her even pay for it ;) It was traumatizing how poorly they treated me..To have to wait hours in a sauna (my paid room) not knowing how long this will go on..That frustrating argument w the GM..and tha, he switched again and decided that he will now send someone to buy a new one. What a sick power game..? Another 20 min of waiting.. And guess what..The new hairdryer came surprisingly without a cooling mode.. Btw. After all those crazy making bs, they decided to kick me out w the police, simply because they couldn’t handle my justified criticism..

Far below expectations for 250€/night: Completely inappropriately long wait during check-in for a want-to-be best address in town, bed far too soft and higher in the middle than on the sides(!), bath layout not at all thought thru and completely impractical for two, hand shower sharp metal + injury(!), not even a shoehorn... and the receptionist did not show any reaction upon that feedback and charged 40€ parking on top. I am glad we did not have breakfast. It was not the highest category room, indeed. Still it was 250€ for a night. Normally Sofitel is top notch around the globe. This was a bad joke. I will for sure spend them somewhere else next time.

The facilities are good, service is however inattentive and sloppy. This is the third time in a row I’ve experienced this kind of behavior from staff and I will not return because of it. People are always on the phone, no help when arriving by car - staff really only there physically.
