I felt that the front desk was more overwhelmed than in my past experiences. Check in was mixed, but worst was check out. I tried to use all my club Accor points against the bill but given the complexity of the system, I was unable to do so. The lady at the desk sent me at least four emails with a code, none of which worked. I spent over 25 min checking out and in the end paid by visa. Also, when I extended my stay for the extra night the rate I was told was not the same as what was on the bill. Fortunately I had an email proof of the lower rate which she then honoured. On the positive side two employees were excellent- the front door valet and the housekeeping man were very friendly and helpful. This was my third time staying at this Sofitel. The price paid for this stay was high due to my visit coinciding with a conference in Frankfurt. I can understand that but the service especially at the front desk should reflect the hotels rating.

my client was given a confirmation to extend her stay . Then was told they would not honor her reservation . She was left to walk the street and find alternative reservation . She was there on Business.

We are alarmed to hear that she did not have a pleasant experience. In behalf of my team, this is to apologize for the reaction and lack of empathy of my colleague at the Reception. Please note that this problem was a true exception to our normal practices. Rest assured that we are taking the appropriate measures to address the problem. The department head already coached the concerned Front Office agent about this behavior. Please note that it is our standard practice to offer a room at the hotel and if there is no available room to offer assistance to the guest in finding another room. I am sorry too that the English level of the particular colleague is also not business level English so she did not know also how to communicate with tact and diplomacy. All our efforts are concentrated in preventing future occurrences. The miscommunication seems to have stemmed from an email we received from you addressed to our Reservations team that the extension of the stay was not approved due to budget constraints of the company. Upon investigation, it was cancelled in our system. I would like to reiterate our commitment to high quality standards, and I personally would like to make sure that your clients will experience it during their next stay with us. Classy, professional and extremely friendly and forthcoming service. Modern, welcoming room with high end amenities including one of the best beds in the industry, rain shower/bathtub combination, and tasteful seating arrangements even in the smallest of the rooms offered. Haven't had a chance to try the pool, bar or restaurant but there is always the next stay for that. Five stars. Probably the best hotel in Frankfurt right now.

Very comfortable room, slightly more street noise than one would normally expect with the double-glazing, it almost seemed like one of the windows wasn't sealed completely around the frames. We enjoyed 2 dinners in the restaurant with very good service from the staff.

It was a good stay. Only the room for the breakfast was to small for a good booked Hotel. Also the coffee service does not work very well. Beside this little complain the overall experience was really fine!

Lift on return from Sauna

Experience was great. I did have an issue on return from the sauna whilst wearing not very much were I took the lft to the 2nd floor. I was mortified that I ended up in the public carpark and unable to return to the basement floor as the button (with my hotel card) couldn't be selected. I then shared the lift with people using the car park where I then had to walk around the building to the hotel lobby again whilst wearing not very much. You may wish to put a sign up stating that lift use is for access to the car park only and not for access to the Sofitel hotel rooms. Otherwise the hotel room was great, and staff are excellent. Great room but need better rules

I had a short stay for business. Room was great. Staff was helpful. Need a better pet policy though. Guest had a barking dog all morning which woke me up. This also interrupted many conference calls as the dog barked for over 45 minutes constantly. Will be traveling to Frankfurt frequently over next couple of months but will be staying elsewhwre
