I have traveled a lot around the world and I have stayed often also in Accor hotels ranging from basic ibis budget to high class raffles in SG or your Sofitel in Bali. I knew what to expect when booking an ibis budget but the level of dirt which I found in my room was above everything I experienced so far. Even in the shower I found an old used handsoap, covered with hairs from the previous “tenant”. As mentioned, this was a disgusting stay and I was happy when I fell asleep and was able to leave quickly in the morning to take a shower elsewhere.

The toilet did not appear to be clean and the light above was faulty (had to reach all the way to the motion detector to get the light to turn on; not possible while seated). The chair and desk weren't very clean either. The LED stripe that surrounded the room was ripped out from its cover in most places. The window blinds were partially broken. Overall, the appearance of the room made me want to wear shoes at all times and touch as little as possible while inside the room. This was my first and likely my last experience with Ibis Budget.
