Returning 8-22 June 2023, Hobart's midwinter festival Dark Mofo is a celebration of the dark through large-scale public art, food, music, fire, light, and noise, underpinned by the longest night of any Australian capital city.
The festival delves into centuries-old rituals to explore the links between ancient and contemporary mythology, humans and nature, religious and secular traditions, darkness and light, birth, death and renewal.
