The room was very clean and breakfast was very nice. I rated my stay as 9, because we wish if you have pillow menu to let us choose different types of pillows.

Upon check-in I was told my booking wasn't there - I showed the email of confirmation which apparently is completely useless as the reference number isn't relevant to the hotel. It turns out the Accor call centre I booked it with forgot to update my surname which I've had for years. First night evacuated due to a fire alarm (after speaking to people it turns out this had happened multiple times already in previous nights). The 3rd night we were woken up by a lady yelling and carrying on at 3.30am in the morning wandering around the abandoned building behind us. The soundproofing isn't very good despite being on the 2nd floor. Parking can also be an issue if you don't find a car space (which there wasn't many) - we had to move our hire car before 8am the next day as we had to park in front of a business due to lack of space.

Chairs x2 in room needed tightening up,they wobbled.Room looked bland,white everywhere.I suggest some prints on the walls and maybe some colour on the walls.

Some rooms are new and upgraded but my stay this time was in a smaller room with TV that did not have access to streaming. This is apparently being upgraded to make sure all rooms with be modernised soon.
