The location is quite good in a quiet street. There is limited parking. Blinds in the room are weird, they do not block out much light, so when the sun came up it will definitely wake you up. Our breakfast was included in our accommodation, when we were checking out they said they were some extra charges. I advised it was just us in the room that were having breakfast. They said they will sort it out and will call me if they were going to charge my credit card. Well the next day, they charge my credit card and I did not received any calls. So I called them up and complained and they promptly fixed the issue. I believe it is the system they used at breakfast that caused the mix up. You verbally tell the waiter your room number, maybe they mis-heard it, or maybe other diners heard it as well and used the room number. At other places I stay at, they have better system in place to avoid these issues.

The good: Nice room, comfy bed, good bathroom, excellent mini kitchen (suite room), well located near city centre but not in it, good for restaurants and access. Supermarket, cafes, hospital, city centre all walking distance. The bad: Inconsistent service - daytime staff on reception were excellent; evening/night guy was unfriendly. Breakfast - not a buffet so you have to decide on eggs or fruit, rather than both. Breakfast service highly variable - Sunday was a disaster. Not enough staff; staff had no clue what they were doing (3 trips to clear a tiny table?; a 3x2 table set up for 6 people with only one person sat at it and a queue down the hall for tables? a third of the staff focussed on making fancy coffee while tables needed clearing, people needed seating/serving? people told to "wait in the lounge" and then forgotten while those in the queue were prioritised? - it was terrible). Parking was confusing with spots allocated all over the place but shared with other businesses and you had to move if you parked in the wrong place overnight. NO RESTAURANT - always closed on weekends and for us, Friday as well meaning we had to go to McDonalds for dinner after a horrendous flight experience. Not the best.

Breakfast on Sunday was a particular challenge, with us serving around double the number of guests we were expecting, and we struggled. Our issues were compounded by several staff ill on Friday. resulting in the closure of our dinner service. We are recruiting more team members, but unfortunately it can take several months to find people, and the skill sets are therefore variable. I really am sorry that this impacted your stay, particularly after a difficult flight experience. I am pleased that other areas of your stay were good, and I appreciate the balance in your feedback. Good location, lovely staff. Rooms were also a good size. Just wish the blinds were fully blockout, as sleep was interrupted by the 5:30am sunrise. Sadly breakfast at the restaurant was also not great. Waited over 30mins (granted it was busy) and tasted mediocre for the price. Overall happy

Disappointed that we couldn't even relax in a lounge and have a drink.
