Hello Paul, Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback following your recent stay with us at Mantra One Sandy Bay Road Hobart. We are sorry to hear that aspects of your accommodation did not meet your expectations. As a heritage-listed building, there are certain structural limitations we must work within, particularly regarding kitchen configurations and ventilation requirements. However, we do appreciate your comments regarding the room layout, lighting, television setup, and overall usability, and these will be taken into consideration as we continue to review guest comfort improvements. We were also concerned to read your comments regarding the shower floor. Please note that non-slip bath mats are available upon request through Reception, and our team would have been more than happy to assist had we been made aware during your stay. In regard to the food preparation facilities, the Studio Room category is designed with limited kitchenette amenities suitable for light meals and short stays. Guests intending to undertake more extensive cooking may find our One Bedroom Apartments more suitable, as these offer fuller kitchen facilities. Regarding your booking experience, your original reservation was made through the Accor system, and when the additional night was requested, any modification to the original booking would have resulted in a different room rate applying. As discussed at the time with me, a separate reservation was created to retain your preferred rate structure, which consequently resulted in separate billing arrangements.
