Unit 405 had plenty of space for 2. It does have two staircases. One to the bedroom and one to the living area. IE 2 flights from bedroom to living area and one flight from either area to the bathroom which is located where you enter the apartment. One problem we had with the unit (which I don't think the hotel can do anything about) was the smell of smoke, especially in the evening through the Air system. The location was excellent for walking to the CBD, Scamander, etc.

Fantastic location, easy walking distance to Salamanca and wharf restaurants. Room was well laid out with open plan lounge, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and laundry. On-site parking is limited.

Fantastic location you can walk to everything: the city shops, the waterfront, and Salamanca markets are only minutes away. The apartment itself is excellent, spacious, comfortable and clean. The staff were amazing, friendly, polite, and always helpful. We stayed for two weeks and enjoyed every minute. If you want to explore everything Hobart has to offer, this is the place to stay.
