I provided my credit card details when I checked in. When I checked out, the details were not in the system. I tried to pay for a $8 for a mini bar but the machine was not working. I then provided my credit card details to add in later when the machine as working on a sticky note. I later received a phone call about payment of the $8. I called back and they said check your emails and make the payment. They delay in trying to check out of 15 minutes meant I did not have time to properly have the breakfast that I paid for. I am an Accor platinum member. I did not receive an upgraded room so I would expect that after the significant delay in trying to check out the $8 would be waived.

We stayed for 8 nights to see the Yachts come in from Sydney/ Hobard yacht race and New years Eve at the harbour. Our room had a harbour view and it was fantastic we felt we were on the bast place on the planet.

We have preferred movenpick the last 5 or 6 times we have stayed in Hobart as the service, staff and courtesy were first class. After the first two stays we were always offered 2 complimentary drink vouchers per day, this time however the receptionist (Alina) just looked at me in an unfriendly manner and said that was in the past and I would not get the vouchers this time. That evening James the manager called my room and tried to explain why I was not eligible to receive the vouchers, poor explanation however he said not this time, something to do with package promotions (mumbled rubbish). The next day the restaurant manager Enen said he will get some vouchers for me as he remembered me from other stays, however he came back to me after talking to Alina and said SORRY the front desk hands out the vouchers and that there is none for me. Left a bad taste in my mouth and not happy with the way i was treated. I feel that there must have been a change of staff as the ones i got to know previously were not there this time. Sorry to say if nothing is done about this situation I will not stay at Movenpick again...
