Ideally situated next to Cradle Mountain ranger station. Cabin was lovely. Free laundry was great. Wildlife was abundant. Breakfast was very expensive and of very poor quality. When a serving bowl was empty food was just tipped into the dirty container! I think this is a health and safety issue. The variety of cold buffet was poor, 1 ham, 2 cheeses no salad stuff at all. The cooked sausage were inedible, chewy. The food in the tavern was fine, but the toilets next to the tavern are in need of an upgrade.

We had a fantastic stay - the area is so beautiful with lots of wildlife - wombats, wallabies etc. So many options of walking trails. Great food and excellent service.
