Having to return to reception in the rain after being allocated the incorrect room would have been frustrating, and I apologise that the service you received during this process did not meet expectations. While I'm pleased to hear you enjoyed the room once relocated, I appreciate your comments regarding the maintenance concerns, including the creaky floors, loose tiles and door handle. As one of Australia's oldest wilderness lodges, some of our accommodation does reflect its character and history, however this should never come at the expense of guest comfort. Having to follow up multiple times, particularly when the shower was unusable, is not the level of service we aim to provide.
