Fantastic location, so close to the national park, and so many walks/trails only a few minutes walk from the main lodge. We saw so much wildlife. Wombats and Perfect place to get away from life for a while whilst still having moderns conveniences

Best location, wildlife and walks

Beautiful location, great walks, tavern food enjoyable, our family was upgraded to larger room which was appreciated. Only negative: Renovations to once cozy fireplace lounge below was a bit disappointing, that winter cabin “snug” is now cold and too loud with open concept, ambience has been lost unfortunately. Staff were amazing considering Covid shortage. Fantastic family wilderness & wildlife experience overall. Devils highly recommended. Thanks for a great stay.

We were put into the wrong room, which meant we had to move to the other end of the grounds in the dark, no offer of help was offered. I was charged the wrong amount. Tavern was nice good food and staff.

Location and staff were wonderful. Rooms a bit dated and pricey. Menu selection limited especially as no other options readily available.

Location is excellent- however the standard of facilities, and service is way below average considering the cost of the stay

The lodge does not cater for guests arriving with no car - everything is so difficult … took for ever to answer phone sometimes never - that was from the room calling reception even calling from outside no answer - Spa only had one person over the weekend and closed Monday public holiday .. but considering the busiest time - guests pay for such an experience it should be available… I have no problem paying for quality but cradle mountain lodge is way over priced for what you get … My daughter was bullied by a bartender in the tavern - to apologise for being supposedly rude to the staff - she never spoke to the chef even though that was told to her and the staff member could hardly speak English - she was told to apologise or she wouldn’t receive the ordered meal for her 14 month year old son - absolutely outrageous!! Our family is in hospitality in Sydney and we certainly would never have withheld food from a customer waiting for an apology… I was overcharged over $2000 on check in which I picked up on check out - I would never recommend your lodge - And that is such ashame as I love the area - it is so beautiful..
