The cradle mountain Lodge is ideally located at the foot of cradle mountain national park. The suites are incredible however the breakfast selection A. a vegetarian is very limited and the fact you have to pay extra for all most everything leads to a poor experience at the end of your stay. The staff are amazing and so helpful

The unique location of your resort is fantastic, the cabin was comfortable, the only thing was the lack of wifi and poor mobile reception can cause a bit of issue for someone who needs to keep in touch with the rest of the world in this day and age. Also, I understand the no tv as part of the cabin was designed for guest to enjoy the surrounding and each other, but its hard sometimes when a family travels with kids. Overall, the experience was great, and we will certainly come again.

Nice place to stay

My family of 2 adults and 4 children loved the pine cabins, they were clean, spacious and had gorgeous fireplace (safe for children). The buffet breakfast had a good selection and we loved the home made jam and pastries. Wombat and wallaby spotting around the property was fun. Few easy walks around the property.

The most fantastic stay!!!

The contemporary spa cabin was just wonderful and the bathroom was glorious with the view of the forest. We had a balcony that overlooked the forest and we had little wildlife visitors every day. Still managed to have the fire on as it got cool even in January!! The lodge itself was very comfortable and the lounge with the fire was so relaxing and all a little decadent. Three nights there and we didn't want to leave!! Plus had some beautiful walks around the lodge itself

Not an overly good experience but restaurant was great

Not good value, not well planned, lots of flies in cabins (found insect spray next day), generally unhelpful reception staff.

Overpriced and outdated

Old furniture, dusty "cabins". Vastly overpriced for what is a very basic place.

No view with our upgrade, but wonderful

The paths are no longer safe, need maintenance, because I had a fall. I reported the incident. Otherwise food was beautiful, service was very good. Overall it was terrific

A beautiful and relaxing stay!

Upon arrival we were treated like second class citizens. The staff member couldn’t find the booking we had made, he spoke as if we had made it up and it was all to much effort for him. When I produced a booking confirmation email from Mantra he still continued with his attitude. Once it was time for payment the make simple out his hand out and said “Card” I overheard the couple next to us being checked in, they received a full explanation of the facility and things to do in the area. We received none of this.

The lodge, our room and the staff were all amazing

Rained constantly for both days but room was relaxing. Needs some renovation. Shower rose could have been larger rain head type. Road conditions to cabins was very poor with many large potholes. Wood fire was great and nice supply of wood.
